Dream begins
I walked through the forest towards the light that I saw. It felt like it was pulling me towards it. I was almost there and-
Dream ends
"Cass, cass! CAAASSSSSSS" I woke up to dud shaking me awake, and I looked over and saw harry double checking to make sure he had everything packed. Just as I was about to get up, harry ran over and jumped on me, making me gasp.
"Cass! Were going to Hogwarts today!" I started squealing. We were about to get up when lily jumped on Harry's back. We all started laughing. "Lilllyyyy, get off! C'mon girl, let's get you some breakfast." At the mention of food, the little noodle jumped off and ran over to the door.
As we made our way downstairs, we smelled the most delicious smell in the world. Egg and cheese sandwiches. Aunt petunia made them with a secret ingredient that nobody has ever been able to guess. Everyone loved them, and it was the perfect start to the day.
"Oh, good morning boys, cassandra. Are you two excited for today? I know how nervous you must both be." Harry and I nodded as we sat down with dudley. Aunt petunia passed us all our sandwiches and then sat down with her own.
" now, cass, harry, you mustn't forget to write. We'll see about you coming home for Christmas, but aunt Marge has invited us to go see her, but we have to leave a week before you two are done school." I was slightly dissapointed that I didnt get to come see aunt Marge, but I'll be at a school full of magic! Hopefully draco will be there at christmas. If we're still friends then.
By now it was 8:15 and hagrid knocked on the door. Harry and I rushed upstairs to grab our things with Dudley helping us. We quickly said goodbye to aunt petunia and Dudley as we ran out the door with hagrid.
It's time to go to Hogwarts.
Time skip brought to you by Draco's sass.
As we arrived at kings cross station, I caught a glimpse of platinum blonde hair. As he turned around, it turned out to be Draco. "Draco!" I called out to the boy. He saw me and waved excitedly, motioning for me to come over. "Harry, I'll see you later, I'm gonna go sit with a friend. Bye Hagrid! I'll see you at Hogwarts!" With that I grabbed my cart and ran over to Draco and his family.
His mother smiled at me while his father said " ah, Draco is this the girl you were talking so much about after the robe shop?" Draco blushed and nodded, looking down at his feet. I stuck out my hand for him to shake and introduced myself to him. "I'm Cassandra potter, sir. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
His parents seemed shocked that I had such proper manners. We made our way to platforms 9 and 10. "Draco, where's platform 9 3/4?" He started laughing and pointed to the wall between the platforms. Before I could say anything else, he looked around to make sure no muggles were looking, and drove his car right into the wall.
Except, where he should've banged into the wall, he disappeared. I stared in shock until I heard Mr. Malfoy chuckle slightly. "All you have to do is go straight through that wall right there. Its best if you run for your first time. I blushed and thanked him before running through the wall to find my friend.
When I opened my eyes again, I was standing on platform 9 3/4. There was a beautiful scarlet steam engine. I quickly saw Draco and ran over to him, nervous because of the huge crowd, and because I almost lost Draco on the busy platform. We put our things away and ran to find a compartment all to ourselves.
As we made our way through the crowded train, we found the last empty car and sat down inside it. Lily could sense my anxiety about the situation and curled up in a ball on my lap. Draco decided to end the silence. "Hey Cass, are you ok? You seem anxious."
"Yeah, I'm fine" Draco raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. "Ok, fine. So I might have severe separation anxiety and severe social anxiety... that's why I got so nervous o the platform when I couldn't find you in the crowd." The blonde boy sighed and came and sat beside me, wrapping his pale arms around me. "aw, Cass, you should've told me! I would have stayed right beside you!"
I was going to answer but i never got the chance. as we sat there hugging, four kids our age walked through the door. the girl, who reminded me of a pug, started squealing when she saw Draco. "Hi Drakieeeee!" when she saw me, and his arms around me, she snorted and said "Drakie poo, why are you associating with this mudblood? i don't recognize her, so she must be one." Draco looked pissed and started to stand up. Seeing this, i pushed him gently back into his seat and stood up.
"listen, before you go around calling a potter mudblood, you might want to know that this potter, is the opposite of sane. therefore, i feel immense joy in hurting those who annoy me. so pansy Jillian Parkinson, you have been warned. Now get out." Pugface let out a squeak and scurried out of the compartment. i laughed and turned back to the others, just to see them staring at me.
"What? She deserved that!" I went and sat by Draco who then said "Cass, how did you know Parkinson's full name? She never tells anyone..." I shrugged and answered " I don't know, actually. I just heard her call me mudblood and something in me just said 'this bitch doesn't want anyone knowing her name is Pansy Jillian Parkinson, so call her that.' so I did." Everyone looked confused so I just yelled "Guys, I don't fucking KNOW!"
Draco wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I snuggled into his side, sighing as I relaxed completely for the first time in a very long time. Draco and I talked quietly to each other as the others spoke between themselves. While we talked, Draco scratched my head. "Hey Cass, are you purring?" I blushed as i realized I was in fact purring.
Blaise talked to Vince and Greg about quidditch while they stuffed their faces. Draco and I soon fell asleep, comfortable in each other's arms, both of us happy.
