"Hey ugly how do you know Urokodaki-sama?", Y/n asked the demon with a smile.
"Urokodaki? He was the one who trapped me here 47 years ago! And so I've been eating his brats one by one.....hehehe......I wonder how he feels.....hehehe.....I've eaten 13 of his disciples....including this little guys it makes 14 of them....hehehehe....I've promised to kill all his disciples...hehehe", the demon said, giggling.
Y/n eyes widened at what he said, this time her smile dropped, all she could feel was anger.
"And let me see....there were two particular ones who stand out to me....the brats hair was a unusual color, he was the most powerful one. He had pinkish hair and a scar by his mouth...the other one was a female brat in a flowery kimono...she was small and was lacking in power, but she was awfully agile", the demon disgustingly giggled again.
'Sabito....Makomo....he is the demon that killed them? S-sabito...', Y/n paused, she felt emense pain and anger, she had to control her emotions but who could remain calm in a situation like this, a tear flowed down her rosy cheek, touching her tint pink liplip, '...and I didn't even realise it until now...'
The demon extended his arms to catch Tanjiro but Tanjiro suddenly woke up and dodged the attack.
"He dodged it! So he can still move? Great! I can have some fun!", the demon said extending his arms towards Tanjiro before his arms were cut off by Y/n.
"Not anymore", Y/n no more had a smile on her face, this time she was really...angry.
'Y/n? She...her smell I can't smell it...', Tanjiro thought, 'Wait the demon!'
Tanjiro turned to see the demon, 'The demon.....he is not moving an inch!'
"Wh-what's wrong I....I can't move!", the demon said sweating.
"Don't worry you're not dead 'yet' though you'll soon die anyways...", Y/n glared, making the demon sweat more, " No matter how much I want to shred you to pieces and torture you till your last breathe...that's not my job anymore..."
"Tanjiro?", Y/n turned towards Tanjiro as she gave a reassuring smile, "I'll be going now..."
"Huh?"
"You are his student after all so I'm sure you can do it.....avenge them all.....I believe in you", Y/n said, "Well then. ..I'll see you soon"
Tanjiro eyes widened at her words, "Thank you", he mumbled.
As Y/n left, the demon still remained in it's place, not moving an inch, making it easier for Tanjiro. (I guess you all know what happens next)
Few days later
"At last!", Y/n said as she stretched her arms, yawning.
"It's only been seven days and you're already tired?", a soft voice could be heard from her back.
Y/n turned back to see a similar face, he had a short black hair with a fringe cut and large black eyes, "Oh? Look who's here!"
"How have you been, onee chan?", Kiriya said with a smile on his face.
"I-I'm fine....w-what about you?", Y/n muffled trying to contain her laughter.
"I'm doing fine...but I'm surprised that you're still not used to seeing me in a kimono", Kirito pouted, soon giggling along with his sister.
"It's nice to see you dressed up like this once in a while...and you also grew a little taller than the last time i saw you...good for you. You are becoming cuter and cuter...", Y/n teased him.
"You should be saying handsome and not cute in this kind of situation...but since it is you I'll consider it", Kirito said with a gentle smile on his face, "I haven't seen you for almost a year now.....and you are still the same"
"Well....people don't change easily", Y/n said before she heard footsteps approaching, "I guess 'they' are here. Guess it's time for me to return now. Bye~ I'll see you soon~"
"See you too, onee chan"
On the way to Ubuyashiki estate
'I better not show myself to the other Hashiras just yet', Y/n thought as she increased her speed.
In Ubuyashiki estate
"Master, I'm back", Y/n said as she knelt on one knee.
"Y/n you have arrived after so many days. How have you been?", Kagaya asked as he walked towards Y/n.
"I'm doing just fine master, thanks to you. I'm glad to see you in good health too, master", Y/n said maintaining the same position.
"Thank you, Y/n", Kagaya said as he stood in one place, "Y/n I have something important to tell you today"
"Yes, master"
"I'm sure you know Kibutsuji Muzan...", Kagaya said.
"I do"
"Your next stop is in Tokyo, you won't be able to defeat him alone so for now I am just sending you to keep a check on him. You will be going on this mission with a Hashira this time"
"Yes, master. Is this fellow Hashira perhaps Shinobu nee-chan?", Y/n eyes sparkled.
"I am afraid it's not...", Kagaya just simply smiled, "...but I'm sure he's someone who you get along with...an old friend perhaps? "
'He? An old friend?', Y/n thought, a little confused before recollecting which other Hashira knows her other than Shinobu, 'Wait...it can't be him...?'
"Muichiro Tokito", Kagaya said making Y/n eyes widen in shock, "He will be your partner for your next mission"
