Chapter 4: Hey Baby, Wanna Ride?

Charlotte's POV

After getting changed into the gym clothes Garrett gave me, I stepped out of the bathroom. As I did, I look up at Garrett and his jaw dropped. He then proceeded to say, "Wow you look better than my ex ever did in those." I smiled and asked, "Is it ok if I kept them? They're so comfy." He replied "Yeah, sure. I don't have a use for them" I nodded then walked out of his room and made my way downstairs to see Marshall, my actual boyfriend, making me breakfast.

Wow, This fake and real boyfriend thing is gonna be difficult to keep up.

"Hey, babe. How was your run this morning?" Oh, yeah. Garrett told him I went on a run. So, that's where I was, I most definitely wasn't talking to Garrett about us having sex the night before."Umm, yeah. It was fine. nothing special." He then went on to say"I made you breakfast while you were out." I replied, "Aww you're so sweet." He then asked, "Could I ask you something." Oh, no, Has he already found out about me cheating on him with Garrett? I subtly replied, "Yeah, sure." He went on to ask me something, that kind of made me question if he knew or not. "Did you hear strange noises coming from Garrett's room last night? I woke up and I heard really weird noises coming from his room." Play it cool, he might not know. "Not really." Although I had a good feeling of what kind of noises he heard from his brother's room, I was curious to see if it was what I thought. "Could you elaborate on what sort of noises you heard?" He confirmed my suspicions." Like, sex noises?" Either he heard us or he thought his brother was watching some sexual film or porn or something like that. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he did and he broke up with me there and then because those walls are thin, please say I'm wrong though. "No, I didn't hear anything like that." Just as I answered him, Garrett came downstairs, but now, he has his top on.

Phew! At least, Marshall wouldn't find out about us from the hickies I gave him. Luckily, the hickies Garrett gave me are on my thighs and stomach so the gym clothes or any clothes hid them well. "Morning, Bro. Morning Charlotte." He said As I started to eat the breakfast Marshall made me. He sounded happy this morning, Maybe it was because he got what he wanted last night and I'm not just talking about my decision to cheat on Marshall with him. If you know what I mean. I asked him, "Why do you sound so happy?" He replied cockily "Oh, ya know. Just because." He then whispered in my ear "You know why I'm happy. You. You're the reason I'm happy. Did you even need to ask?" He then winked at me. I smiled back.

Luckily Marshall was humming away, lost in his own headspace to notice his brother and his girlfriend cheating on him behind his back. I looked at the time from the clock they had on the wall in the kitchen. it was 10:40, I'd better get back home my dad will be wondering where I am. So, I spoke up and said: "Babe, I need to get back home, but thanks for the pancakes they were delicious." He turned around, walked over to me, kissed me and said: "Ok, do you want me to drive you back?" I thought 'Actually I was thinking your brother could, considering we had sex last night.' Like I said I thought about saying it but I didn't, I ended up saying "Actually, I might walk ya know could do with the exercise." Marshall said "OK, babe. I'll text you tonight then." At this point Garrett had disappeared, don't know where to. But, I nodded and went out the door.

Walking past the house I notice Garrett sitting in his car. He then slowly winded down his car window, leaned over to the passenger seat and said very seductively to me "Hey, baby wanna ride." I spoke and said "Did you not hear me I'm gonna walk home. Also if wanna ride means what I think it means. I'll pass." Garrett cockily said with a smirk on his face"Ah, who's flirting with who now." I spoke up and said "I'm walking home. Do you want us to get caught? Because you're going the right way about it" Garrett smirk was cleared of his face, as he apologised "Sorry, I just wanted to be a gentleman and maybe we could cuddle on your bed tonight. If you know what I mean." He winked at me, then I said "That sorry mean f*** all to me because of what you said after it, Lucky for you, I'm in a forgiving mood. Plus I'm can't be arsed to argue so I will take the lift." I got in the car and he started driving me back to my house.

For about a few minutes, the car ride was silent, when I remember what Marshall said about 'strange noises' coming from Garrett's room last night. So I told him "Marshall was telling me about some strange noises coming from your room last night." He started to get worried "Don't worry, I didn't tell him about us having sex last night, I just told him I didn't hear anything." He breathed a sigh of relief. I continued to say "I just told him you were watching porn." He then started to panic again, so I said "Kidding! Although, would have been believable if I did. Either that or we were making our own." He laughed.

We finally arrived at my house. Before I could get out of the car, Garrett grabbed my hand and said: "You didn't answer my question about coming over tonight." I thought about it and said, " Yeah. Ok fine, but you have to sneak in through the window, stay upstairs in my room, and if you stay the night you have to be gone by 9 the next morning, ok?" Garrett looking at me contently as I spoke, but he replied "Deal." I got out of the car and headed up the path to my house. when I reached the door, I waved to Garrett drove off. I honestly don't know how he's gonna sneak out the house without his mum or brother knowing. But, I can't deny how excited I am about tonight!

When I got into the house, I started getting questioned by my dad and Sarah about last night. My dad, as I said has always been protective of me with guys I've dated or been friends with past or present and with Marshall, it hasn't been any different. They started asking me about what happened last night, things like 'Did we have sex?', 'If so, did Marshall wear protection?' answering those questions, no and no, because we didn't have sex. But, if we did we would always wear protection. And that would go for anyone who I have had sex with in the past. (I know I haven't mentioned protection when Charlotte and Garrett having sex, but both times they wore protection) I hate answering questions that my dad ask me about sex because it's so awkward.

I talked to my dad and Sarah for about 2 hours. Although, we did watch 2 movies as well. After watching 'Shaun Of The Dead' with my dad, I got in the shower then went up to my room to watch Youtube for the rest of the day. I watched Youtube for god knows how long, then I started to fall asleep. After sleeping for 3 hours. I got woken up by someone knocking at my bedroom window.

Simon Pegg plays Charlotte's dad therefore, he is not an actor. Hence why I haven't written him in as telling Charlotte all about filming on 'Shaun Of The Dead' as they watched it. As you may have guessed, I'm a huge Simon Pegg fan, I love all his films so this is why I put him as Charlotte's dad in this book. Also, Jo Joyner who plays Charlotte's step mum Sarah used to play Tayna in Eastenders, I'm a huge fan of her too. And, as I said in an earlier chapter, I'm also a huge fan of Garrett and Marshall, which is why I wanted to do this story in the first place.
