After a very short drive to the drug store, we got there and went to the section with tablets, pill, etc and found the pregnancy test part, I picked one up that was labelled Clearblue. I saw the advert a lot on YouTube they seemed to work really well. Marshall came up behind me and said, "Why don't we get two, just to be sure." I picked two up and asked "Because I can't afford both." every move I made I swear I was getting looks and being judge by people. Marshall took me out of my thoughts by saying "I'll get them. It takes two to tango, babe." Don't I know it. I replied "No, you won't. I know we both might have done this." I pointed to my stomach. "But, I'll pay. I should have enough." he kissed my cheek and said "But, I want to. This is my baby too."'It might not be it might be your brother's' I thought. When we got to the till Marshall took out the money for the test. Before I could say no, he had already paid for them While Marshall was paying for the two tests, I got a weird look from the shop assistant. I shrugged it off. We then both walked back to the car and sat in a comfortable silence until we got back home.
Once we got back to his house, I rushed to the bathroom with Marshall waiting outside to find out the results. Before I read the test, I heard Marshall say, "Whatever the result is I will be here every step of the way." If it was your brother's baby, I'm not sure you would. I went ahead and started to read the instructions and do the test. I then let Marshall in and sat on the floor to wait for the results. It said on the box before I did the test, you had to wait 3 minutes for the results. Let me tell you those 3 minutes we're the longest 3 minutes of my life.
Once the 3 minutes were up, it was the moment of truth to find out if I was pregnant or not. I stood off the floor look at the one test and Marshall checked the other and...

Marshall asked, "Well, what does it say?" I showed him the first pregnancy test. He then smiled showed me the other test.

I hugged him. "Thank God!" we both said. Marshall then spoke up "I hope that sometime in the future we can have kids. I suppose now is not the right time." I replied "I guess. I was petrified that maybe I was. You can wear a condom and I can take my pills but that doesn't mean I won't get pregnant." We then opened the door, Garrett was standing outside. He obviously didn't hear the news as he was waiting anticipating to know the answer. He spoke up and said, "Well, am I gonna be an uncle in 9 months?" Marshall replied, "Nah, sorry bro. She's not pregnant." Garrett did look slightly upset, Marshall obviously didn't know but that could have been his kid. Marshall went to tell Mrs Overboe the news while Garrett and I talked about the news.
