~*It's Not Like That, Okay?!*~ (Mondo Owada X Kiyotaka Ishimaru)

chapter 10: Locked In!

Taka sighed. his gaze was fixated at the computer screen, and he was completely absorbed by its light. his eyes were straining, which is only natural for them to do.
you may be asking, 'what is he doing on the computer?'
well, it wasn't a computer. it was one of the televisions in the AV room, and he was watching a movie. well, I don't really think the word 'Movie' is right. more like.. a few short clips from his favourite movie. happy moments, funny moments, sad moments, all the moments.
Taka hadn't gotten up in hours. his focus was only on the television screen. occasionally he heard a few playful screams, or footsteps outside the door, but only faintly, as he was wearing headphones.
as he scooped up a spoonful of French Vanilla ice cream, the door opened. he spun around slowly on his desk chair, looking at the figure. he could recognise that hairstyle anywhere...

"h-hey, Taka?" Makoto looked at him, an awkward smile making its way to his face.
"oh, hello Makoto!" Taka smiled warmly and he placed the scoop of ice cream in his mouth.
"w-what are you doing?" 
"...watching moments from a movie I like."
"...how long is this movie?"
"..about 3 hours."
"...so that explains why you've been here for about 3-ish hours. okay, everyone was getting worried. sorry!" he gave a small giggle, and exited the room.

Taka sat there for a moment, before slowly shutting off the computer screen and walking out of the room. as he stepped out, the vibrant purple lights blinded the boy. his arm moved up towards his face, shielding his eyes from the blinding lights. slowly, his eyes adjusted, and he began to walk to the Dining Hall, where he assumed all his friends were.

as he walked into the cafeteria, a.. different scene greeted him. Leon was dressed in a chicken costume. and he was dancing around the table. Taka wanted to ask him what the hell he was doing, but he didn't bother, since it wasn't any of his business, and Leon would respond with something stupid.

Mondo ran into the cafeteria, screaming. Taka spun around to see what was happening, and there sure was something happening.
Sayaka was chasing a few more people, including Mondo, into the cafeteria.

"Sayaka and Leon, what are you two even doing!?" Taka looked them back and forth
"we're doing what Monokuma told us to!" Sayaka chimed.
"yeah, even we dont know what we're doing" Leon smiled.
"w-we're probably gonna get-" Chihiro spoke, but thesound of the monitor turning on stopped all their talking.
"Locked in! is that what you were going to say, Chihiro~?" Monokuma giggled.
Chihiro choked on his words, then nodded.
"I cant see what you're doing, since this is prerecorded, but I'm just gonna say you were gonna say that. ANYWAY! you guys are locked in the cafeteria! there have been bathrooms and showers added in the kitchen, and beds are located under the tables! you will all be locked in here until someone else, who is locked outside the cafeteria, gets a way into and kills someone in the cafeteria! they could us the vents, I dont know.."

Aoi spoke. "hm.. this sounds familiar, Like from that one video game--"
"don't say it." everyone looked at Aoi, and said it in unison.
"okay.." she frowned.

heyo yall! as you can tell, Among Us is getting ✨P O P U L A R✨ and I wanted to write about it, because tbh? its a really good game-
and you can kinda tell I've given up with this story lmao. oh well, ill write chapters occasionally, but ye!
