ROYAL GARDEN II (Alternate Ending)

Arrival

"Lia are you ready to go?"

"Yes, I'm ready."

With Lia ready, we were able to leave Alterna and go to earth. Where I was raised.

"Donghae, before we leave I want to hear you give a speech to the people about our leaving."

Donghae then nodded, and headed outside into the balcony and got everybody's attention.

"Everyone, listen up! I have important news. Both of our queens will be gone for awhile to finish this evil so that way we can live in peace. Almost all of you have lived through the hard times of the war, without a queen, without a ruler. This should be nothing, we can manage, we can survive!"

I was surprised how everyone was cheering from Donghae's speech, they showed power, will and determination. To keep on living without a queen, this will be the second time that they will have to do this.

Earth's time is slower than Alterna's a few days in Earth is almost like a few months here. But I was happy that my people were still energetic even though I'll be leaving.

"Okay, yeji I've given the speech your ready?"

"You know Donghae you should be our negotiater?"

"Oh! And why's that?" Donghae said with a smile

"Well, because your good at convincing people."

"I'll try to keep that in mind."

Donghae then opened a portal, covered in smoke the inside of it was dark, like an abyss, endless, no light passed through it.

Seeing this portal again brought old memories back.

"All, you have to do is walk through it." Donghae said

"Simple enough."

Before I crossed I stopped and turned to Lia who was right behind me. Carrying luggage.

"Almost forgot! You don't need to bring anything with you Lia?"

"What do you mean?"

"Will unless you want people to stare at you the whole time, the attire here in Alterna doesn't really exists in Earth."

"Then what kind of clothes do they wear?"

"It's hard to explain, you'll just have to see for yourself. Your going to be amazed."

I grabbed her by the hand and walked through the portal, just like the first time it happened in a blink of an eye.

We, were in Earth instantly. They place we arrived to was of a room, belonging to a girl by the way it decorated.

"Yeji, isn't this you in this thing?" Lia said as she handed me a photo.

It was a picture of me with my parents, the ones who raised me, then I realized that I was in my parents house, this was my room.

"This is a photo of me and my parents Lia, where in my room."

Everything looked the same nothing was moved or changed. It was covered in dust as if nobody entered here since I left.

I headed towards one of the windows and looked out, to see everything was still the same. It was early morning, people we're outside walking.

Some were walking their dogs, kids walking to school, and some were sitting on benches relaxing. Through everything that I have been through I've missed seeing this.

"Let's go downstairs Lia and see if my parents are awake."

"Okay."

As we both left the room, we entered a short hallway it was dark since all the lights were off. We then reached the staircase and went down into the living room.

"Wow, it's pretty." Lia said admiring the place

"I told you, you would like it."

I then headed to the kitchen, while Lia followed behind. The kitchen was connected with the living room, so it wasn't very far.

"Lia, you can take a seat at the table while I make the coffee."

"Coffee? What's that never heard of it?" Lia asked as she took a seat

"Well, it's a beverage that you can drink either cold or hot. It's made from cacao beans. It's pretty long so I won't say much."

"Okay, then I'll just leave everything to you." She said as she smiled

"God, she's so cute when she smiles." I thought

When the coffee was being made, the smell started to spread across the whole house. I then opened the cupboard took out two mugs and poured the fresh brewed coffee into them.

I grabbed the two mugs and placed them on the table, and made my way next to Lia. I didn't know why but I was nervous, looks like I wasn't the only one.

Lia was holding my hand with a tight grip. I placed my other hand on top of hers and gave her a reassuring smile.

At the moment I heard two people coming down from the stairs, when they came into sight. It was my step-parents, I was happy to see them again.

"Honey? Did you already make the coffee?"

"What? No, you know I don't wake up this early?"

"Then who....yeji?"

My father said upon looking toward the kitchen.

"What? Yeji? She left a long time ago, she isn't here....."

Then my mother came down and saw me, she tried hard not to cry. As they both got closer there faces were still confused.

"This is real? Right?" My mother said

"It looks real to me." My father said

"I'm back."

I let go of Lia's hand and got up to give my parents a hug. I have missed this feeling for a long time.

"Let me introduce you to my wife!"

I looked over to Lia and she was startled by my sudden introduction of her.

"Nice to meet you my name is Lia! I'm yeji's wife." Lia said as she bowed to my parents

We all sat down at the table, after doing introduction's.

"Your back! But why?" My mother said

"It's a long story. But to make it short and simple the threat to our people is here. On earth."

"A threat? Here?"

"Yes, I will fill you all in later but now I want to rest a bit. We will be living here for a while until we remove the threat."

"You're welcome here anytime, not only are you queen but you're our daughter as well."

"Thank you, now if you'll excuse us we'll be in my room."

Me and Lia then left to my room.

"I'm tired!" As fell onto my bed

"At least we get a break from our duty of being queen."

"Your right about that. Now come cuddle with me." As I gestured her to come closer

"Okay, fine."

When she got on the bed, I wrapped her with my arms and pulled her closer to me. And with that we both fell asleep.
