Dylan sighed out through her nose as she sat in the bathtub of Wolf's large apartment bathroom, trying to comprehend what exactly happened in the last two hours or so and how she was going to get herself out of this hole she had dug for herself. The water was now lukewarm and slightly pink from the blood she'd forgotten to or didn't see to scrub off herself before she got in the tub. She had her knees folded into her chest and her arms wrapped around them as she watched small water droplets slide off her tattoos, the inky black shining as the droplets fell like tears.

Closing her eyes, Dylan sank deeper into the tub as she thought about what had happened in the past few hours. After she took out those five dumbasses, she was caught red-handed, literally, by Wolf.

Both of them just stared at each other in the alley, both in disbelief for two different reasons. Dylan could feel Wolf run his eyes all over her bloody form over and over as if trying to convince himself that what he was seeing was indeed not a dream or a very horrible nightmare.

And then he started walking towards her.

Dylan made a point to stand absolutely still. She had no idea how to react. Wolf, Thomas, was a person who had trusted her, whose company she had enjoyed, but now he knew her biggest secret. One that threatened the peace she currently had with everyone. For a fleeting minute, she debated killing the man. He knows your secret now, he puts you in jeopardy, he should die, that ugly voice in her head whispered. Kill or be killed, Nobody had said, don't let anyone see your weakness, what makes you vulnerable.

When he had gotten at least a foot away from her, he slowly, oh so very slowly, rose his hand up to her cheek, swiping his finger, and then recoiled when he realized he had actually touched blood, that it was really blood that was all over her.

But Wolf was different; it was something Dylan knew since the moment she met him, even if it took her a while to witness it, so it really shouldn't have shocked her when he brought his now bloody-fingered hand to his side and then stepped aside.

"Come with me."

From there everything was silent. She had trailed wearily behind him, neither saying anything to each other. She eyed his form as he led her, noticing his clenched jaw and his rather tense form. She didn't blame him for feeling uncomfortable or probably hating her, after all, he had trusted her and she had lied.

She dreaded the conversation to come, that is, if he deigned to speak to her after this.

She noticed he had parked right by the alley, meaning the girls had likely left the restaurant without her and Wolf was the only one to stay behind. She wanted to be hurt, but considering what had literally just transpired, she'd never been happier those girls left her behind.

Wolf had silently opened the back door to the SUV, still not saying anything before he jumped in the front and began to drive in an unfamiliar direction, most notably, the upper part of the small town.

Believe it or not, little ole' Cunningham, Nevada, does have an upper city. It is right outside of Vegas after all, so it's not too out of the ordinary, but Dylan had never been. She's lived on the poorer side of the middle class, she and her siblings struggled to keep their small home over the years because of their deadbeat dad.

"What..." Dylan trailed off as she looked through the windows of the car, almost in awe. She never knew Cunningham could be this beautiful. She ended up never finishing her question as they arrived in a parking garage under a rather upscale apartment complex. Dylan knew she could probably buy half of this entire part of Cunningham alone, but considering she'd never been here and had no idea her own little town had this side of it kind of put her for a head spin. That and the thrill of the kill was beginning to wear off. She needed a nap, the heaviness was coming back.
