Story:
Timmy's POV: I awoke to my parents waking me up with a loud call of my name. I opened my eyes only to close them again by a light shining into my eye. "Are you awake son?" my dad asked excitedly. "Yes," I replied shortly. "Good! Your mother and I are going to the carn- I mean on a business trip!" I lowered my eyebrows. It's was obvious that my parents were going on a day of fun again and leaving me here with Vicky. "And since Vicky's out of town-" Vicky was out of town? Hold up. "Where's Vicky?" I asked out of curiosity. "Her and her family have gone on a vacation for 3 months!" my father told me. My eyes suddenly lit up and my face widened. I almost screamed in excitement, but my dad cut me off. "That's why we're hiring a new babysitter!" he said. "Now if you escuse us, we have to get to out day of fun- I mean work! Bye son!"
I looked out my window to see my parents get into the car and head towards the carnival. I looked around to see my Fairy God-Parents, Cosmo and Wanda, poof back to there original form. "A new babysitter! Wow!" Wanda cheered. "I just hope they aren't like Vicky," I responded back. Wanda made a face. "Timmy, I don't think anyone can meet up to Vicky's standards." She was right; Vicky was so evil, that she would totally make every kid in the world her slave if she could. I don't think that anyone else could be that bad.
"I wonder when he's gonna be here," I said as I looked out the window towards the carnival.
Danny's POV (3 days earlier): "How am I supposed to get money like that?!" I said as I showed my best friends, Sam and Tucker, a poster for a Space Convention. Tucker shrugged. "If I knew, I would be rich," he said. Sam rolled her eyes and typed something into her cellphone. "Look right here," she said, shoving the phone into our faces. "It's not till a few months from now, right? These jobs can earn you some quick cash!" I took the phone from her hand and gave the website a look. There were all sorts of jobs, from washing cars to doing a kids homework. "How about this one?" Tucker said as he tapped on something on screen, and a title came up. "Babysitting for the Turners: Dimmsdale, West st., house 8. Look how much money they pay an hour!" Tucker cheered as he pointed out the Pay rate. I stared at it in awe. "This is perfect!" I exclaimed. "Thanks Sam!!" She took her phone back and gave us a smile as we did our victory dance.
I contacted the Turner's that night, and they hired me. I was so excited I could hardly wait for Friday to come. I mean, how hard could taking care of a kid be?
