AN: Hey, I know it's been a while since I've updated, but school has been killing me along with the many hours at work I've picked up to avoid the feeling of being alone, but I'm good and alive. I promise once the semester is over in a month I'll have the time to write more.
(Y/N)'s POV:When Toca led me to the gardens I was astonished by the sight before me. Beautiful flowers and trees that were found only in Japan were growing perfectly throughout the garden. It was as if ever stem, petals, and branch was the exact way it was designed to be. Nothing was out of place. It looked unreal and more like an elaborate painting. You could hear the running of a small stream as it led a perfect path alongside the flat stone paths that travel around the garden. A soft breeze brushed across my cheeks and caused me to sink into the warm air it brought.
The only figure that could be seen in the garden was a man with jet black hair warring and navy blue kimono. His back was turned as he sat neatly on a circular pillow with an identical one next to him. A small table was placed in front of him as a cup with warm steam trickling out the top rested. Another one was already in his hands.
"Master doesn't like to be disturbed in here, so this is where we shall part." Toca began in a high whisper.
My thoughts began to run wild at the thought of being alone with a murder. "Do you have to?" I pleaded in a whisper.
Toca giggles quietly with her hand over her mouth before regaining herself. "You're so cute (y/n), but the master has requested this time to be private and I cannot go against his wishes." She honestly states. My shoulders slump at her words.
With a sigh I give in. "Fine, but will I at least see you later?" I ask with hope in my eyes.
Again, this causes her to giggle at your adorable antics. "Of course, anything you wish lady (C/n). Just as long as they don't go against the wishes of my master." I was reluctant by her reassurance, but something about 'if they don't go against my master's wishes," didn't seem to be settling all that much.
With a light push and a gentle 'good luck' followed by a small laugh, Toca made her way back down the hall again, probably to her chores, and left me alone in the garden with Japan.
Taking a deep breath, I move towards my captor. 'Here goes nothing. What's the worse that can happen?' I thought to myself.
Stepping through the garden I tried to repeat to myself that everything was going to be okay and that maybe, just maybe, I can talk some sense into Japan to leave me alone along with the other two.
"Did you enjoy your bath?" Japan asked before taking another sip of tea. "You were in there for quite some time. You even made a friend." He added. The way he gazed into the door I came through and the tiny emphasis on friend sent a shiver down my spine. Japan was acting weird. It was a bit unsettling.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to sit down. I'd be a bit more at an advantage up here if he were to try anything. The only thing on my mind was the students he threatened and the man he and Germany killed. I needed as much of a high ground I could get.
(Japan be like: It's over reader, I have the high ground.)
(Reader: You underestimate my power) sorry, not sorry. :/
"Do you like the kimono I picked out for you?" Japan asked as I took an awkward seat next to him on the pillow. There was a tint of red visible on his face as he asked.
"It's very pretty. It's been a while since I last have worn one." I answered honestly. Japan usually picks one out for me to wear each time I come to visit, but something feels different about this time. Japan's face is beat red when I answered. It was more red than usual, I should say. He's always been bashful.
