With the Axis:" What the hell were you thinking?! Sneaking around and running like that! You gave us both a scare! Thinking that someone bad could have happened to both of you!" Germany burst through the doors of Italy's garden and yelled, startling both Italy and me.
Italy moved back from me as he looked towards a fuming German and a silent Japanese stood. "Oh hey-a guys!" Italy tried to play off as if nothing happened and that he didn't drug anyone's drinks the night prior.
Germany was not in the mood to play around with Italy's antis and stomped over to where we were both kneeling beside the path. Japan stayed where he was by the doorway and kept his watch on Italy.
I didn't know what to do or how to feel, but from the intensity he was giving the busted Italian, I knew something was off. Was he...angry? I don't know. I've never seen him angry before. Except that one time so long ago. It's so hard to tell what's going on in the quiet man's head sometimes. Okay, most of the time.
When his gaze landed upon my sitting form his gaze softened while a small smile adorned his lips. From where I was, it was a little hard to see it, but yet, still noticeable.
"Well, Italy?" Germany interrogated. His impatient words brought my attention back to Germany. "What do you have to say for yourself?" He demands with an angered arch in his eyebrow.
"I-uh," Italy began fearfully while hopping up and dusting the invisible dirt from his uniform. I got up along with him. Not wanting to be the only person on the ground.
"I...I'm sorry Germany." He apologized honestly. After all he did feel some remorse for the deed he's done to his friends. "I just wanted to see (Y/N) and show her what I've made for her," Italy admitted.
Germany's anger didn't last long when he looked into the eyes of a tearful of Italy. He was speaking the truth. Just not all of it. "You shouldn't run off with (Y/N) like that. You're lucky there's only so many places you go to and are easy to track that I knew how to find you guys." Germany argued, but calmer than when he first got here.
Italy began to calm as well, seeing that Germany wasn't screaming at him anymore. "vee~ grazie Germany."
"Although, Italy," Japan pipped up as he made his way over to the three of us. "I know you did something to the drinks you gave us last night. One does not just wake up with a headache after only drinking water." He states. Italy began to panic once more as Germany looked shocked at Japan.
"What?!" Germany yelled, enraged again as he grabbed Italy by the shoulders. "How did you do that and why?!"
I was surprised when I found out Italy did that to us too. It was way out of range for the normally bubbly, innocent Italian. But it never got to the point of boiling over as Germany did. I guess it just feels more like a sting of mistrust when it's your best friend to do so.
"I-a told you!" Italy shouted back with tears brimming his eyes again. "I wanted to spend time with (Y/N) and knew that you wouldn't let her leave the house."
'Leave the house!' A thought came to mind while they were busy bickering with Italy. How could I have been so caught up in what they were saying? They're distracted now, all of them. I should leave while I still have the chance.
Slowly, I began to make my way further away from the group a step every few seconds, so that they wouldn't notice me right away as they were still arguing with each other. I was about a meter or so away from them when Japan looked at my way.
'Sh!t!' I mentally cursed myself when his gaze hardened as he figured out what I was up to. Without a moment to waste I turn and ran away out of the garden and back through the house, ignoring the screams and shouts to stop and come back.
