Lights Out

"I love how the day we decide to go to the Skating rink, it storms." I exclaim shaking water off me.

"I'm just glad I'm with you Baby" He says

I look up at him and smile. "Me too. Now let's go get our skates!" I grab his hand and pull him towards the line.

We stand in line for our skates and I pull out my phone to check it. Loud thunder makes me jump a little, but Caleb takes one of my hand and intertwines it with his. I look down at our hands and look up at him. He smiles and I blush.

"Awww, Are you blushing babygirl?"

"No! I don't blush!" I say looking away.

He laughs and pulls me closer to him. "You're adorable"

"Whatever." I say still trying to keep my blushing face hidden. I put my phone into my back pocket when suddenly, with a loud bang from the thunder, The lights go out. A couple screams and voices of panic fill the skating rink.

I automatically cling to Caleb as he wraps an arm around me. One of the employees are telling people to stay calm while they try to get the power back on.

"I fucking hate the dark." I jump when the thunder sounds again with the lightning.

"Baby you wanna go try and find somewhere to sit while we wait." Caleb squeezes my hand trying to calm me down.

I nod. When I remember he can't see me I say yes. He turns on his phone flashlight and guides me to and empty seat. We both sit down and I cling onto him even more. He rubs my back trying to soothe me.

"Caleb?" I say a bit quietly.

"Yeah?"

"Can I sit on your lap?" I ask, my embarrassment makes me instantly regret it.

"I'm just really scared right now."

"It's okay Babe I get it, come here."

I let go of his arm and climb onto his lap. I get comfortable and then lay my head in his chest.

"Try not to move around so much." He says

I don't say anything and just try to relax.

Here I am, sitting in a dark skating rink, on his lap. Great.

I soon feel an uncomfortable poke. "Caleb, something's poking me."

"Uhhhh, I would tell you what it is, but I don't think you wanna know..."

I sit there confused....

Wait a second.....

"Seriously?!?!" I whisper yell. "We are in the middle of a blackout, you have a girlfriend, who is afraid of the dark, sitting on your lap. Now is NOT the time to get a freaking boner!"

"I can't help it, sorry!"

"What if I just get off your lap, will that do anything?" I ask while trying to climb off

"No.....just stay here." He pulls me back on and wraps his arms around my waist.

My face is a blushing mess. I can literally hear my heart pounding rapidly as I feel his breath on my neck.

Out of nowhere, the lights and music in the skating rink come back on. I jump up, startled, and fall off his lap.

"Fuck that hurt." A couple people turned towards me.

Caleb gets up and laughs, "you okay Babygirl?"

"I'm fine." I say as he helps me up. "That was your fault."

"How?" He says trying to act as if nothing just happened.

I glare at him playfully, "you know how."
