Wifey <3
.

A chuckle escaped from my throat when I received Gaeul's message, happy that she had listened to my words earlier today. The elated mood soon turned downhill when I realized that this also meant that she was going on another dangerous mission, and I exhaled deeply as worry clouded my mind.

I munched slowly on the cream puff I just purchased with only my mouth, and tapped furiously on my phone to send her a reply with both of my thumbs. I probably looked like a retard holding onto a pastry like that inside a café, but I couldn't care less.

Me
Wow you really listened to me.
I'm touched!!
Take care!
I'll miss you when you're not here ㅜㅅㅜ
Make sure your men are with you okay?
See you soon!
I love you <3

After hitting the last reply, I grinned to myself before eating the food properly again. I was about to take a sip of my smoothie when someone pulled out the chair opposite to mine, rendering me to glance up at the rude person.

Frowning when I saw a girl around my age, I crossed my arms angrily. She was what the average people would call as pretty, I would give that, but totally not my type.

"Excuse me, forgive me for sounding rude but who are you to sit here without my permission?" I questioned her.

"Didn't want a cute guy like you to look all lonely sitting in a café without someone else." She smiled widely, and I nearly scoffed.

"Sorry. I'm not interested in whatever you're planning to do." I stated, and began to gather my belongings to put inside my messenger bag.

"C'mon. I just want to be friends with you. It took me a lot of courage to sit here. Can't you at least have a chat with me?" She was frowning now, giving me a sad puppy look.

"Nope. Bye." I told her coldly before leaving the café, slightly annoyed that my evening after work was ruined by another girl like her.

I had always thought the wedding ring on my finger would do some part in stopping girls like those from pursuing me in the public, but no, I was dead wrong. This probably either meant that they couldn't care less whether I was a married man or not, or my ring was just simply not obvious enough.

Or even worse, they probably thought this was just for fashion purpose.

Deciding to head home earlier today, I made my way towards the nearest subway station, and was about to scan my card when I got pulled back harshly with a strong force. I stumbled a few steps before regaining my balance, and I glared at the burly guy engraved with tattoos staring down at me fiercely.
