These were her words when she shared with him about Rosaline. The doubt set in his heart at that time; he never see her normal around Sagheer Ali. She would always been afraid or terrified of him. Being a kid her attitude towards him could be justifiable because of Sagheer Ali's own behavior but her fear keep on growing day by day. He got alarmed even when he read the texts from Saeed Ahmed on her phone. Next day in office instead of going to Sagheer Ali he confronted Saeed Ahmed and like he expected, he denied of sending any such messages to Meerab

He has contacted a secret agency and handed Imran Ali to solve this puzzle for him

"Investigate every single suspect. She has been in London for almost ten years. Rebecca Williams was her neighbor and she was quite close to her. I just want results"

In all this Junaid's sudden demise changed everything for them. His attention from the case diverted. His biggest concern was to bring Meerab back to life and thankfully he succeeded in it. That evening when he was coming downstairs with her, their encounter with Sagheer Ali grew doubts in his heart. The way she clutched his hand like her life depends on it. He realized one thing that day; Meerab and Sagheer Ali's relationship was not normal

Her rejection broke him. He could not believe that Meerab can do such a heinous act but he was also a man after all and a weak one. Before he could recover from the shock of her rejection, Sara demanded their sudden marriage. Again, something that was not normal. He tried confronting Meerab but her tears told him some other story and he decided to give her another chance

It's been almost one week to their marriage when Sara decided to keep their reception

'Rebecca'

It's clicked him then and he called her

"Hi Rebecca, I am Wali, I hope I am not disturbing" He was in the office which he and Junaid set with so much effort

"No, not at all" He then told her about his and Meeraab's marriage and invited her to their reception. Her reaction was something he didn't expect; her words even more shocking for him

"I am so happy for you guys. Thank God now Meera is safe from that monster" It was just a slip of tongue from her but he caught her words

"Monster? Who?" she then realized what she has blurted but it was too late now

"Tell me everything" He commanded and she has no other option left except to tell him everything from Meerab's rape to her falling pregnant and her being a victim of sexual abuse. Wali was furious and mad. He could not believe that she has endured so much and that too all alone

"Who did all this?" He asked in a low voice

"I can't ..." but he cut her off sensing her intention to deny him

"I don't want to hear 'he is close to me'"

"I'll tell you once I get there" and he agreed

That night when he came back home, the first thing he did was to take Meerab in a warm embrace. She who was sitting with Sara turned red with embarrassment and reprimanded him for acting like a freak later when they were alone in their room and he just kept smiling in answer

"What? Am I telling some joke?" She rolled her eyes

He shook his head, "Actually marrying you turned so beneficial for me" She not understanding just gazed at him quizzically
