Epilogue

Dear Tyler,

I hope you are doing well.

I am not sure what my aim is, in writing this to you. But I just want you to know regardless of where we are in life by the time you receive this, I'll always treasure you, you'll always have a place in my heart.

When you cheated on me that night a few years ago, I felt devasted. But when I recognised it was Lauren you kissed that night, I was even more upset. You kissed the girl that bullied me all through high school. Do you know how it feels to get cheated on? No, you don't. But you know what is worse? Getting cheated on by someone who bullied me during school.

But it's okay. With time, I will be able to heal. And by the time you get this, I will probably have moved on already. Living my life and doing what I do best. Minding my business and being around people who care about me.

I hope you realise the damage you've done to me. And I hope the next person you get with, you don't cheat on them as you did to me. I hope you treat them with respect and dignity. I hope you treat them well enough for you to not think of cheating as you did with me.

I hope you're happy because you ruined me emotionally. But it is only temporary. Just know that I will get over you and I will happily do so with the help of my friends. Just know that I will love again but not anytime soon.

I hope you can understand that I will pray for you that with time, you will mature and grow up.

I guess now I have said everything I wanted to say and it is time for me to say goodbye.
