Janani's pov:

It's been a month now after meeting my athai and her family in a hotel. I still can't able to forget that day. His gaze were on me all the time. Why he is staring, just he don't want me here or there is something more to that stare which is unable to predict.

My mom and dad came yesterday from Coimbatore for Naveen's engagement They were staying in Athai's home.

I was in a rounds suddenly my phone started to ring. Athai is the one who is calling me.

I sighed and attended her call, conversation between athai and Janani. A refers to athai and J refers to janani.

A: Janu ma how many times we were calling you. Why are you not attending our calls.

J: Athai I'm in rounds right now, I'll call you back later.

A: Janani we will come and pick you at 6 pm, be ready okay.

J: haan okay okay now bye

Conversation ends.

We only have two days for engagement but still I never purchased my dress. My job is making me go crazy. I took half a day leave for Engagement, though function is at Sunday.

Today is a tiring day, there are lot's of patients in ER. So it's been so hard for everyone today to handle all the work.

I changed my dress and took all my belongings and decided to go for shopping. As athai said they might have reach by now. I took my mobile and came out to see four missed calls from athai within 5 minutes.

I was calling my athai suddenly Rahul came and took my bag from my shoulder. "Hey idiot, Are you leaving me alone and going home by yourself " He asked me.

"I'm in phone rahul" I Mouthed him.

My call goes unanswered, I again tried to call but Rahul was continuously poking my shoulder.

"What Rahul" I asked him.

"Look there" He said and I followed his instructions to see Naveen is in opposite road.

"Isn't he your cousin Naveen, the one who is going to get married " Rahul asked me.

But my concentration is fully on the person who is on the opposite road. Is he came to pick me up, but no he will not do that after what happened between us.

We both staring at each other, "phone" Rahul shouted at my ears.

I looked at him and then at my mobile, athai was the one who is calling me. I attended the call" Janu ma we were already in the mall, Naveen came to pick you up so come with him okay" She said.

"Athai it's okay I can come there alone, don't need to struggle him" I said politely.

"No Janani come with him, I think he might have already arrived there. Look for him sweety" She said and hung up the call.

I sighed and looked at Rahul " Okay Rahul I gotta go bye " I said and started to walk.

He pulled me by my arms "Hey where are you going " He asked me.

"I have a shopping to do, Naveen came to pick me up " I said.

"But how can you go with him after what he did to you" He asked me.

"I know Rahul but I can't ignore him totally he is my family " I said.

Rahul opened his mouth to say something but we heard the loud annoying horn sound. We both turned around to see Naveen were staring at us.
