In the fifth installment of "8 Days of Oxford Comma," it's time for Suzy's father to officially meet Harry at dinner, Suzy and Harry bond further over road trip music and soft hotel sheets, and there's a whooole lot of sexy fun time.

We're now just over halfway through this series, so it's time to get down to the nitty gritty and finally start closing some of those doors we've paved the way to open—and that all starts with Harry "officially" meeting Suzy's father. Harry is quite anxious about it all, but Suzy tries to reassure him and prays it all goes well. Then, Harry and Suzy are off on their weekend getaway, though they don't really spend a lot of time outside the hotel room; they're in the honeymoon stage of their new relationship, so what can you expect?
SCENE ONE
Harry is anxious about officially meeting Suzy's father, especially considering he's not exactly given him a warm first impression, but Suzy tells Harry everything will be fine and reminds him yet again that her father is just protective; he still doesn't feel entirely reassured, but puts on a brave face and shows up at dinner with a fancy bottle of wine and a very warm smile. Nicholas is very welcoming and Mina cannot be happier she gets to see Harry again, especially with the pink hair accessories he gifts her, but Dominic is a little cold at first.
As the night carries on, Nicholas asks Harry questions that he knows won't step over the line, however he does have to warn Dominic a few times after a few cold comments—Suzy squeezes Harry's thigh to help reassure him, even though he is freaking out on the inside. However, as the night progresses and the lemon tart Suzy made is brought out, things have relaxed as Dominic has seen Suzy and Harry together and sees how comfortable and happy they are with one another; he also likes how happy Mina is in his presence too.
Suzy is to head off with Harry when he leaves, as they are heading off on their weekend trip the following morning, but before she goes Dominic pulls her aside and wants to double check Suzy is happy; of course she says she is, because she really is, and this is when he gives his final approval. They both know Suzy will date whoever she wants to regardless of his approval, but Suzy hates the idea of doing something against her father's approval, so this makes her absolutely ecstatic and tells Harry the great news as soon as they leave. Harry is really fucking relieved.
SCENE TWO
Harry has planned their entire weekend (Friday to Monday), though it mostly entails spending time in the hotels while naked because they absolutely cannot keep their hands to themselves; they're very much still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship and it shows. They sing along to tunes in the road trip playlist they crafted together the night before and eat the snacks Harry also bought before they left, but once they reach their first destination and make their way inside, their clothes are stripped and they're under the sheets before either of them has a second thought. Once they're done, Suzy says they should go find some lunch, but Harry brushes her off and tells her to stay—he then says he wishes he could stay like this forever and reminds her again how much he loves her and how happy he is.

SCENE THREE
Saturday afternoon, they're getting lunch in Sheffield—surprisingly, they managed to pry themselves away from the bedroom—when a couple of fans spot them at a cafe and ask for photos. Suzy sits back and watches it unfold, anxious about what fans have said about her online in the past, but when one of the girls compliments her shirt and says she's really pretty, it makes her smile and realises that not all fans are bad. The girls reminded her of this constantly on tour, but her anxieties ate at her to the point she couldn't believe what they told her. As much as it does still unsettle her a little, she's getting more used to the idea. Plus, she loves Harry so much so he might just be worth it.
SCENE FOUR
After eating at a restaurant in Manchester Harry had been recommended by a friend, Suzy and Harry are lounging out back in their hotel room; they had planned to see a movie, and while there is still time, they're also both very full from their meals and would rather, when they can be bothered, go for a romantic moonlight walk in the park nearby.
Eventually, they manage to find the strength to go for a walk, and when they do, Suzy thanks Harry for a fantastic and very romantic weekend; she may have plenty of study to return to the following week, but a break is exactly what she needed—and she knows it's what he needed as well given everything he's been through in the last week. As far as she's aware, the band's breakup is imminent, however they have a five album contract and still have to record and release the final one before they can move onto other things.
On their way back to the hotel, Suzy asks what's next and this is when Harry surprises her once more and announces they're off to Holmes Chapel in the morning.

As it turns out, dinner with the parents didn't go so bad after all, hey? A little rough to begin with, but Harry's charisma and charm always seems to save the day. Plus, they both ended up getting a much needed break from the stresses in their lives, and that absolutely included a whooole lot of sexy fun times. Given everything, I think they've earned their fair share of orgasms, don't you think? Suzy's also slowly coming to terms with Harry's fame and everything that comes with it (i.e. the fans and media), which is always nice.
Aaaaand then, Harry's surprise at the end about going to Holmes Chapel. Spoiler alert: They do stay with Anne, but Suzy's mum and boyfriend will also make an appearance. So... Get ready for that! AND ALSO, it's the second last chapter. Eeeeep!
