Chapter 9

 Jason POV:

"Yea there is but let's get the who's who done first." She replied "I'm 1. I'm the 2nd person to take the mantle of Captain and call sign 1."

"I'm her father." I replied "I'm Master Chief Jason Hayes and number 1 is my daughter, real name Elara Hayes."

"I'm 2 my siblings are 12, 13 and 14." He replied "I'm the second in command, like 1 I am the second person to take up both responsiblities."

"I'm their father Senior Chief Ray Perry, my kids in this unit Marco, Luca, Stefan, Jacqueline, Jameelah and Raymond Junior." He stated gesturing to the each "And this is my wife Naima Perry."

"I'm 3 known as Special Warfare Operator Clay Spenser."

After all the introduction

"And now for those that aren't here." Clay asked

"They are yet to arrive." Kai replied just as they heard a few cars pulled up in the front

"Also some people are from different countries." Elara stated just as another member came in

Astrid was the first to get up from where she had been playing with Nyssa and handed her to Marco as she raced up to greet the new comer, pulling her into a hug

"Hey!" She smiled "It's so good to see you."

"Yea, you as well." The woman smiled

After they began talking away Marco stood up to go stand by Astrid, holding Nyssa while watching Soraya played with Jameelah and Jasper. Another guy walked in behind them holding a baby carrier and took up standing beside the other woman. Both 'couples' spoke together before Becca went and guided them in

"Hey 35." Clay greeted getting up to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek before greeting the guy with a bro hug

"Who's this?" Brock came up to greet

"Right this is 35 and 36." Clay introduced

"Sorry, real names?" Ray asked

"Right I'm Nathaniel Roberts and this is my wife Holly Roberts and our daughter Astrid." He replied "AJ for short and I'm Nate for short."

"Astrid?"

"Yep." Holly smiled

Astrid was quick to go and hug her and they got to talking again before another car pulled up followed by 2 motorcycles

"This is the last daughter to Ray." Clay called

"Another one?"

"Yep, 33 she usually out on solo missions." Elara replied

"Why?"

"She's one of the best so we usually get her to go solo when we can. She also finds it easier to go solo rather then teams."

"I thought you said I had quadruplets?"

"You do, she was born to another woman." Clay replied just as the woman walked in taking the rest of his beer and downing it "Seriously?!"

She shoved the bottle at Brock before running at the fence line and jumping it landing in front of a man

"Hi." She smirked

Astrid was one of the first over with Marco while Leia grabbed an archery kit and took up a shooting position in the tree above them, Marco landed on the other side his hand resting on the gun at his hip beside Astrid watching her to make a move, Leia stood on the left side with her hand ready. Rayne had landed and stood behind Marco ready to jump in as backup while Teresa was behind Leia. Xaiver took one of the spot on the wall with another man both ready to jump down but also ready to shot if they had too.

"You..."

"Watch it, one wrong word and I might just slip." Teresa threatened turning the safety off the guy "Medical on stand by." Astrid smirked

"Your move." '33' smirked "What's it gonna be?"

The man went to pull his gun but Leia was fast planting the arrow through his foot causing him to scream in pain. The kids had already been taken inside so the parents were quick to react

"This is your reality, you trying and kill me even if your lucky enough to get one shot off I can guartee that these guys, the ones that surround me they'll put you down within seconds." She replied "So go ahead. Let's see what you got?"

"What do you want?" He growled

"The file." She replied holding her hand out "Today."

The man took out a USB and throw it at her and she could it throwing it up to Xavier who tossed it back over the wall to another girl who was quick to look through the file and give him a thumbs up

"We're clear." Xavier stated

"Thank you, so much." She smirked turning to walk back and waving back "Have a nice day."

None of the others moved till she was over the field, then Astrid stepped forward taking the arrow out and bandaging the injury tightly

"You should get him to the hospital." She replied "Right now."
Marco helped her up and watched her get over the fence and then the others began to come down from there posts

"While that was fun." Astrid smiled as she picked up Nyssa and going back to the couch with her sitting on her lap

"No kidding." Leia smirked picking up one of the beer bottles and taking a swing

33 was next grabbing a bottle and taking a swing, before sitting on the back piece of the seat

"And you are?"

"Like they said I'm 33." She replied before greeting the others

 Inside the house

"You can stay, you know." Clay told her

"Yea, I don't think so." She replied "You and I both known once you step into the void you never come back."

"1 did."

"1 was never as far gone as I was." She replied "Plus she had you."

"They should've had you. You chose to distance yourself..." He replied "You pulled away from us, you never gave us a shot."

"I know that."

"You were number 3 the left hand to Celeste and Soyara, they died and you, you changed..."

"My team was gone, I watched them die. I saw 5 originals slaughtered like cattle. 5 of the best members." She replied "This..." She gestured outside "This is your world not mine."

"You never gave it a chance... I found something out." Clay commented

"You know a long of things Clay, no one really knows how smart you are." She replied

"Why did you stay?"

"For my people, the people I once loved." She replied "But here, all that here for my are nothing but painful memories."

"I know you loved him." He replied "I know that you fell hard and fast for Magnus. I know the two of you had a child together, you two wanted to have to a family, you imagined a life before this one for when you finally got home."

"Yes, I did I imagined us getting married on a beach growing old in the sunshine as we watch the children play. Have a few grandchildren." She smiled before stating "Twins..."

"What?"

"I had twins, Magnus and Freya." She replied

"Where are they?"

"In the car." She replied "With 39."

"You have a family to come home to?"

"What family, my father..."

"Knows." Ray stated as he walked in "I know that your my daughter and I'm sorry I wasn't there, but I want to be here now."
