Chapter 16: Welcoming

 Danny POV:

Kenzi looked surprised with pops up there stopping in shock for a second before pops gave her a gently smile and held the jacket open for her. She smiled back turning and letting him help her

"Atta girl!"

"Nice one!"

"Ya!"

"Woah!"

We heard cheers fill the room as it had the for the previously people but Kenzi turned to hug pops and he whispered something to her causing her to smile at him when he released him. Dad stopped her next offering her a hug she smiled hugging him before quicken her pace to get back to the others while her sister went up to get her jacket, the a smile as bright as her Kenzi

"Atta girl Anna!" Kenzi cheered "Woah!"

Anna turned quickly thanking them before rushing down to hug her and turning back as their sister Fae went up and pops and dad held the jacket up together, pops had the right while dad held the left, Fae smiled putting it on

"Woah!" Kenzi cheered clapping

"Well done Fae!" Anna cheered beside her and Fae shot them a smile tears glimmering in her eyes before she raced down the stairs and towards her sister one arm wrapping around both as she pulled them in for a group hug

"Well done." Jamie and Joe congrats

"Matthew Sloan...."

Names continued to ring out till all the new members had their jackets and everyone moved around congratulation them before getting ready the celebration with Becca and the others doing a toast and then Elara going to mix

"Atticus." Elara called giving him a mocktail "Pink Panther."

Looking around the room you saw the team, their family laughed and smiling and for a few seconds you could forget they were trained to be weapons they looked like children. Elara smiling as she sat on the ground with her back against Clay chest, she had a wine glass while he had a beer in his hand, she leaned back laughing at something he had whispered to her and Atticus turned around running at her and throwing himself into his mother arms, she laughed leaning down and kissing his head as Clay gently rocked them back and forth. Kenzi held Leo while laughing as Jamie dancing with Allison. Joseph had his arms around Thea waist gently rocking them back and forth to the music, her arms wrapped gently around his neck, whispering something in her ear some gained a small smile she leaned up kissing him softly before resting her head against his shoulder the smile still there. Frankie and Tommy was standing by their sister Jane, Frankie had his arms around his wife while Tommy was playing with his son and nephew, his wife watching on with a drink in her hand, while she spoke with other members like Erika and Lucy. Lucy smiled before excusing herself to go for her family. People began to excuse themselves and their families to get some rest, Elara smiled hugging Marco and the others before getting the children inside while Clay hugged them afterwards before getting to Seraphina and picking her up following wrapping his free arm around Elara, Marco and Astrid were next with the kids till everyone was asleep.

 The next morning

Everyone was up getting ready to go back to their homes prior to the war, Chase was the first with his husband Jordan have quite a long journey back to Australia with his brother Dean

"Are you sure your gonna be okay on the plane?" Becca asked gently straightening Chase jacket

"I'm sure Becca, we'll be okay." Chase laughed hugging her "We'll call you when we get back."

"No matter what time, you call okay, I need to know your safe, and you've got everything in your bags right."

"Everything."

"And more." Dean replied "Thank you for dealing with my brother for so long."

"It was an absolute pleasure to meet him, his become an amazing friend and an incredible family member as has Jordan." She smiled "I'm glad you'll be there with them."

"I'm just glad to have him back..." Dean smiled "If your ever in Australia your more then welcome to visit and stay with us."

"That's the same for you and anyone of your family, your always welcome here." She smiled back surprising him with a hug "Have a safe trip and do let me know you got home safe ya?"

"Of course." Jordan smiled "And we'll zoom all the time and you'll get to see the kids all the time."

"Safe flight." Becca smiled glassing eyes as Johnny pulling her and cuddling her to him

"I'll look after her, you look after them." Johnny told Dean who nodded leading the couple out with their son Axel, one hand in both of these

"Looks like your next?" Becca smiled to Lucy who rushed up to throw her arms around her in a bear hug

"I'm gonna miss you." Lucy cried

"Hey no tears, your family is going to love to see you again." Becca smiled with tears "You'll be okay and this family... In this family we're reslent and fierce and we'll stick together no matter what."

"Promise?"

"Lucy Katherine Beale, no miles or distance will ever, ever stop me from your sister and the same goes for everyone here." She replied "Family forever."

Lucy nodded wiping away the tears as Steve and Nancy reached for her, Christian and Syed holding the boys waiting for them to come before waving to them as they walked out, Christian and Syed guiding the three members to the plane, Lucy holding tight to both boys as she tried to hold back tears while Christian rubbed her back

Saying goodbye to the others, Jason had to get use to watching his daughter be comforted by Clay who held her close as she tried not to cry

"Looks like it's our turn." Jamie smiled to Fae "You ready?"

"No a chance."

"It's another adventure."

"But we won't have our family with us." She replied "Not our whole family."

"You've got me, and the kids, the triplets, Joe and Thea and we're always gonna have our whole family we just call and there on the first flight to us." Jamie replied "We're going to be okay yay?"

"Okay." Fae smiled looking at his siblings
