As I finished changing I hit the yellow button. Then, almost instantly, the nurse came in with the materials to put in an IV. And if you knew me well enough you would know that I'm not a fan of needles or shots. In addition, she told me to get on the stretcher and to lay on my stomach. I listened to all directions and made sure I did all of the steps exactly right. As they rolled the stretcher down to the operation room I began to not feel well. I didn't think anything of it since I didn't know exactly what was in the IV. As soon as I was in the operation room the nurse put a mask like thing over my nose and mouth. The nurse insisted that I take deep breathes and to just relax. Well that was easy for her to say, but I obviously couldn't say that. I began to feel really tired and awkward. My eyes got heavy and were tough to hold open, but then everything went black.
