my footsteps echoed in the halls as i ran to class. 

i know i was late. 

i ran into the door, failing to stop myself from falling. 

i opened the door, wobbling from my loss of balance. 

um...why is midnight in the room?

"l/n. you're late!" mr awaiza scolded to me. 

"yes i know. i'm sorry. i had a doctor appointment. here's my hall pass from the office." i said while handing him the paper. 

"sit down and think of a hero name." he said while going back to sleep. 

i took my seat behind momo, who is really nice. 

hanta walked over to me. "we are thinking of hero names."

"please don't tell me you're going for 'TapeMan.' it's so basic."

"be quiet. at least i'm not going for 'Buggy.'"

"i have a better name, thank you very much."

the gay sparkly queen walked up, and explained his hero name. god we stan him. 

after a while, hanta went up. 

"Cellophane? Really?"

"what? its cool!"

"KING EXPLOSION MURDER!"

"bakugo no."

i walked up. "my hero name is Monarch." 

"like the butterfly?" izuku asked. 

"yeah. i'm mostly familiar with monarchs and spiders for my quirks, but i'm guessing there's already a SpiderGirl in the world."

i walked out of the gates of ua, only to be stopped by bakugo. 

"what's up, king explosion murder?"

"at least someone respects my name."

"it literally has the word murder in it. people will think you're a villian."

"damn you."

"anyway, whats up?"

"can i..um...ask you a question?"

i giggled that this flustered bakugo. "yeah. go for it."

"will you...uh...g-go..." he stopped, slapped himself, then turned serious. 

"meet me at the beach pier at 7 pm. be late and you'll be sorry." he hissed, then let go of me. 

i giggled. "did you attempt to ask me out?"

"SHUT UP!"

"answer my question!"

"DAMN YOU, BUG! SO WHAT IF I WAS?"

i sighed. "bakug-"

"katsuki." he softly said. 

"what...?"

"call me katsuki."

"ok then. katsuki, are you asking me out on a date?"

"i-...uh....yes?"

i got on my toes and kissed his cheek. 

"see you there."
