Chapter 5

The beginning of Bring me to life by Evanescence

 The (h/c)ette sang out as he played a random tune with his ukulele, watching the stars from his spot on the window. The Fenton was calm for once, for the past few weeks since prom night, the male would have random fevers or feel like his blood was gonna leave his body at times. But luckily since then, (M/n) haven’t felt as worse as he did that night, but he couldn’t help but had the urge to break out into song in some shape or form or else, he’ll feel like he’s going insane. 

 Of course, the male saw that his darling nephew wasn’t inside the room, but he didn’t mind, because after all he trusted the young Fenton. Speaking of the young teen, the said boy tried to sneak into his room, ghost style, but saw that his darling uncle was up. So, with quick thinking, the young Fenton flew and phased through the front door, when his uncle wasn’t looking and quickly transformed back to his human self. The raven haired boy, quickly but quietly walked up the stairs, wanting to talk with his beloved...I mean, favorite family member before he fell asleep.

 Danny made it to his door in record time and softly opened the door and entered his room, as he turned around and slowly closed it, so it didn't make any noise. The young Fenton turned around and jumped in shock, to see that the (h/c)ette was standing a step or two away. “DanDan, are you okay? I didn’t tell Jack or Sis sis that you were gone.”

 While the older Fenton does trust his nephew, it doesn’t mean that the male can’t be worried about him. While the Musician quietly fusses around the teen, the younger Fenton couldn’t help his blush and mindset that seems to worsen everyday. ‘So cute! Of course, my uncle is cute and he can be hot too….what’s wrong with me?’ Danny thought as he stepped back, before comforting the (h/c)ette and confirming that he was okay and that nobody had harmed a hair on his head.

 With that confirmed, the Musician gave a hum of improvement and moved away from the younger male’s side and flopped down onto his bed. The ravenette shook his head as he walk to his dresser and change into his night clothes right then and there, with half hope that his uncle will watch him undress and the reason because they’re both guys and they had change in front of each other like hundred times, so this isn’t any different. As they lay down for the night, the duo never notice the set of eyes that had followed Danny here, or how the same eyes seem to linger on the (h/c)ette for a good minute.

Later the next day

 “Sammy!!! You look good as always!” (M/n) spoke to the Gorilla, who waved at the male with a toothy grin. Like always, the (h/c)ette would leave school and feel like he needed some time to make some beautiful music, he would go to the zoo. The childish male loves seeing the purple back Gorilla named Sampson, afterall the mammal would happily greet the male and they would talk to each other for a good while.

 “Hehehe! It was an okay day. We had a quiz today, and I almost failed it, but that’s okay! Because I get to see you in the end!” (M/n) giggles as he leans closer to the cage, just as Sam walks down from the observatory deck, so she can get a closer look at the beautiful creature. Sampson made some gesture as he cooed at the Fenton, who nodded his head, before he suddenly grabbed himself as if someone just punched him in the stomach.

 “(M/n)! Are you okay?” Sam asked as she rushed to the (h/c)ette’s side as he gasped for air, just as Sampson started banging on his cage bars, trying to break out. Sam looked at Sampson in shock as he pointed at the cage door, trying to tell her to let him out. The goth girl didn’t know what to do, because she wanted to open the cage, but she didn’t want to leave her best friend’s uncle in pain. 

 “Open it...don’t worry about me…” the Musician made the choice for the girl, urging her to listen to his friend, with hesitation Sam quickly ran to a machine that was connected to the cage’s door and slammed her hand on the open button, letting the Gorilla free. As soon the door opened, Sampson was off, running towards the tigers’ area. Sam quickly turned around and was going to run back to the (h/c)ette’s side, only to find that he was missing. Panicking the goth girl decided that she had to wake up Danny and Tucker and tell them what happened.

 Unknown to her, the older Fenton had followed his friend, albeit at a slower pace, to the disturbance. Just in time to see the ghost shoot goo at Sampson’s eyes. As the Gorilla attempted to take the goo off his eyes, Skulker shot a net at him. With a deep breath, (M/n) warned his friend, even though his blood felt hotter than ever. “SAMMY, GRABY GRABY TIME!!!”

 With those words, the purple back Gorilla leans back and grabs the net, before spinning around, taking the Ghost hunter on a spin as well. The Ghost hunter tried to dislodge the net, but was unable to do so. But fortunately for Skulker, the net ripped and he was set free aka meaning that he was set flying toward the observatory deck that held the Ghost busting trio.

 Sampson was about to follow after the ghost, but looked at his best friend and took notice of how the Musician was out of breath and seemed to be moving slowly. With a huff, the Gorilla picked the male up and started running toward the observatory deck with the (h/c)ette on his back.

 “T-thanks Sammy~!”
