~This is set when Jake and Amy had never met, they were about 13 years old. I saw something like this i think it was called the boy on the bench or something like that, all credit goes to them for this idea. if i remember who it is i will give them credit~ this story is in jakes pov

I sat there at the park by my old elementary school, trying to escape my parents yelling and shouting. Out of the corner of my eye I see this group of about 7 boys and 1 girl. 1 very pretty girl. all 8 of them went to the ice cream van a few feet away from me i couldn't keep my eyes off the girl. I start smiling at her, she looks at me and we lock eyes. i dont know what happened but i suddenly felt my legs pulling my body towards her.

"uh hi," I said with my signature 1 sided smile.

"hi!" She said with a grin which gave me butterflies.

"oh um, sorry I'm Jake!" I said rather loudly while putting my hand out to shake hers. As she shook my hand she told me her name was Amy.

"So Amy, do you live around here?" I asked trying to get to know her a little but better, while still being a bit awkward. Surprisingly she seemed to be ok with a random boy coming up to her and starting a convocation. How many guys had come up and talked to this stunning girl before.

"Ye, i live just around there," She said while pointing just opposite my apartment, i looked shocked i had never seen her.

"well, i live right..." I started moving her arm just across the road from where she was pointing,"... there!"

"woah no way! we live so close but ive never seen you before. How come?"

"ye i can never really get out my apartment much 'cos my parent's are always fighting so the furthest i can go is the balcony most of the time," I say with my smile suddenly disappearing.

"Oi Ames... Dad says were going home, Hurry up. Stop talking to your mystery boy!" A boy from the group that Amy came in said.

"Omg David. He's not my mystery boy, me and I've only just met the guy," she said while turning away blushing.

I waved her bye as she walked to her place. I don't know who that was but damn was she pretty, and she seems really nice. Maybe I should ask her if she wanted to stop off and get a milkshake with me sometime. as I went back home, I realised that I couldn't stop thinking about her. Amy, the mystery girl.
