Untouched by the Veronicas blasted in the bedroom as Mila pulled her underwear up her legs. A cigarette in between her lips and a pair of black jogging pants in one hand while a skirt was in the other.

Looking up in the mirror she noticed the smeared mascara underneath her eyes that was a result of a hot shower.

"I think it's a look." She mumbled around the cigarette before taking a drag.

Throwing the skirt onto the bed she took that hand and wiped under her eyes as her music skipped.

"Fuck ass wifi." Lifting a leg she stepped into the juicy couture pants then hopped on one foot before sticking the other leg through.

The song switched to Rachael by She Wants Revenge as as the guitar and drums started to play she heard a knock on the door and the door creaking open.

Considering it was now Friday evening and they had all planned to hang out she didn't know who it was. The party had been canceled due to the heavy rain that started after the football game so they settled to just hang out at someone's house. That being said anyone could've walked in the room.

Scrambling to find a shirt Mila looked over her shoulder and saw Madeline grinning at her.

"Bitch you scared me." She told her best friend. Maddy laughed as she came to take the cigarette from in between Mila's manicured fingers.

Maddy took a hit of it before walking to the bathroom and flushing it down the toilet. Hopping on the sink she examined her face before pinching her real and fake lashes together.

Mila continued to get dressed, eventually finding the jacket that matched the bottoms and finding a top to go with it. After apply deodorant and perfume she straightened her top.

"I'm trying do be comfortable, but I don't know what they got going on out there." She said referring to Adriana and Aaliyah.

They both had matching dresses on. Aaliyah with a black tube dress and Adriana in a white one. Aaliyah wearing a white jacket over hers and Adriana sporting a black one.

Oh to have matching outfits with your person.

Maddy laughed hoping off of the sink. She was wearing ripped skinny jeans, a pair of fishnets below them, and a hoodie.

"I don't know either. That's on them." She said sliding behind her.

"Are they ready? I still need to do my hair." Mila asked.

As soon as she finished speaking Adriana bursted into the room Liyah on her tail.

"Y'all almost ready? Jasmines picking us up." Liyah announced.

"Yeah. Let me brush my hair and I'll be done." At that everyone began putting on their shoes, grabbing purses, adding jewelry, or touching up their make up.

Teasing at her hair and taming the top of it she placed the brush on the dresser. Messy hairstyle, messy makeup, and a comfy outfit?

A true representation of herself.

"Hey y'all." Nate's country accent boomed.

"Heyyyyy." The girls sounded in unison. Soon Derek and Jaden rounded the corner.

Everyone saying their greetings lead to everyone heading into the back where they heard the music of a video game.

Everyone started to sit down around the room.
Madeline and Jasmine going towards the game. Adriana and Liyah shuffling to their own spot. Derek then turning and sitting by Aaliyah.

Settling in a corner between them all was Mila. The last to sit down was Jaden and he settled down beside her.

Nodding her head and giving a tight lipped smile at him she dug her face into her phone. She heard him laugh at her.

"You know," he started leaning his head down to meet her eyes. "You don't have to be afraid of me."

She laughed at that.

"Afraid of you?" She giggled lifting her head. Jaden looked and noticed how close their faces were.

"Yeah me." He challenged again. A silence settled over the two as they took each other in. She loved the aura he gave and he loved how she looked like no one he's ever seen.

She was unique in her own sense. People like her he felt like he only saw online which is why she peaked his interest.

"What's there to be afraid of?" Mila asked trailing her eyes down to their lips that were inches apart with a brow raised.

"Let's play games guys!" Madeline said interrupting the two and grabbing a controller.

If anything he should've been afraid of her.

Or afraid for her.
