Frankie's diner was a old 1950s set restaurant which lots of North Ridge kids went to.

As Aubrey and Charlotte walked through the door to Frankie's she saw a grinning Matthew sat in a red leathered booth on the left side of the place. Matthew was sat facing the door so that he could see when people walked in and Will sat with his back to the girls. Matthew gave a little wave and at that Will turned around to grin at Aubrey which made her cheeks turn the shade of a tomato.

Aubrey sadly knew that he wouldn't like her since he'd meet Charlotte her dazzling best friend. But Will kept smiling at Aubrey not at her dazzling friend, which made Aubrey's cheeks turn a darker shade of red. But Charlotte didn't care she was busy staring at her passed lover, dreamily.

As soon as the girls sat down the waitress, Sophia, asked what they wanted and left to get their food and drinks. Aubrey and Matthew ordered peanut butter shakes while Charlotte and Will went for diet cokes. Aubrey didn't realise that they were eating or she wouldn't have had that turkey sandwhich before hand! Charlotte was busy chatting away to Matthew when, Aubrey noticed that Will had slightly moved closer towards her.

"Hey, are you cold?" Aubrey questioned Will, wondering why he moved closer.

"No, I just wanted to be nearer to you!"

"Oh ok, is your food good?" Aubrey quickly changed the subject because her blush was returning.

"Umm yeh I guess, Aubrey I was wondering would you and Charlotte like to share a tent with us?" Will questioned, leaving Aubrey having a confused look on her face. Then it finally snapped in her head, he meant sharing a tent at the Gorge. Aubrey realised that she hadn't responded.

"Um yeah of course, how big is it?" Now it was Will's turn to look confused.' Is she talking about my penis?' he thought.

"Hellooooo, William, how big is the tent?" Aubrey asked waving her hand in front of Will's face.

"Oh it like huge and well great for lots of people." He replied a little to quickly, 'is he making a joke about his penis?' Aubrey thought to herself. Sometimes Aubrey accidentally spoke her mind and normally got in trouble for it! Once she was sat in English when Mr Johns the substitute (who was extremely good looking) asked Aubrey what she wanted to do and her reply was "You!". Everyone laughed at her and Mr Johns strangely blushed, he left North Ridge two months later.

"The tent." Will corrected himself like he knew what he had said. A cheeky smile washed over his face as he turned to tell Matthew that football practise was about to start and that they needed to leave. Matthew just nodded and waved the waitress over, he messily hugged Aubrey over the round table and then whispered something into Charlottes ear. He handed a 20 dollar note to Sophia and then the boys left. Charlotte just looked over at Aubrey and they started to laugh.

"That was fun, it was the first double date I had ever been on!" Charlotte said between giggles.

Was that a date?
