Sneaking out again

As Knockout finished fixing 5t3v3 for the third time in a week he could finally close the med bay for the night. Megatron was out on a flight and Soundwave was recharging in his berthroom for once. 

"Knockout, Megatron could be back soon." Breakdown warned Knockout.

"Breakdown, he just left. You know that he's always gone for a long time." Knockout said, rolling his optics.

"True. Do you need me to open a groundbridge again when you're ready to come back?" Breakdown asked as he and Knockout walked to the control room.

"Yes, if you don't mind." Knockout said.

Breakdown smiled at his best friend. As both mechs walked through the Nemesis they made small talk. Once they got to the control room Knockout type in the coordinance he needed and opened the groundbridge. After Knockout went through the groundbridge Breakdown closed it behind him. Once Knockout was outside he transformed and started driving to where the street race was being held.

After a long day of gathering energon from a mine the Autobots went to their berthrooms after saying goodnight to each other. Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead were on curbside duty at their charges' houses. Since Wheeljack was visiting,  Ratchet decided to spend the night with him. Moonracer waited a while to make sure that everyone was recharging. When the time came she slowly opened her berthroom door and tiptoed down the hall, making sure not to make a sound.

As Moonracer passed Optimus' berthroom she could have sworn that she heard snoring. Once she was out of the base she transformed and drove to where the next race was. Thankfully, it was nearby. As she drove down the highway she couldn't wait to actually participate in the race. When she arrived at the place where the race was being held she activated her holoform. 

Moonracer found a spot at the starting line to wait for the race to start. And just as she expected, the cherry red Aston Martin showed up. Little did she know that the Aston Martin was actually a certain sexy medic. When Knockout saw Moonracer's alt mode he had no idea of who she was. He just thought that it was a human with a good taste in cars. 

When a guy stepped out in the middle of the road all the cars revved their engines. When he turned his flashlight on, all the cars took off. As always, Knockout was in the lead. Moonracer decided to challenge him as she sped up. As she drove past him she felt a rush of adrenaline. 

Knockout had to admit that whoever was keeping up with him was good. With each twist and turn Moonracer kept up with Knockout. Knockout thought about bumping her off the road, but he couldn't bring himself to ruin such a perfect car.  When the finish line was in sight Moonracer sped up. Knockout was shocked when she crossed the finish line first. 

After Moonracer won the race she did a few doughnuts and honked her horn. A few minutes later she drove away and headed back to the Autobot base. Knockout was angry that he didn't win. Once he drove away from where the humans were he called Breakdown for a groundbridge. Knockout transformed before walking through the groundbridge.

"Hey Doc, how did it go?" Breakdown asked Knockout as he walked into the control room.

"I came in at second place. I can't believe that a fragging human beat me! Although I have to admit that their car is very nice, especially since they chose an Aston Martin." Knockout said as Breakdown closed the groundbridge.

"You'll get 'em next time." Breakdown said, carefully patting his friend on the shoulder.

"Oh, I will. I'll make them eat my dust." Knockout said, grinning evilly.
