Jasper's POV
Also le~ time skip
Father had brought home a mortal. I could smell their blood when they first arrived. I tried to ask Suave about it but he just shrugged it off. But I had found where the mortal was staying. I peeked into the room every so often. They were a skeleton from what I could tell. They also were really tired. They did move but they didn't wake up. It had been a week or two since father brought them here.
They were dead, I saw them breathing. I decided to go check up on them. I snuck to the door and opened it gently. They were twitching, like they were having a bad dream. I got worried. I stepped into the room and closer to the bed. I was right next to the bed. I ghot a better look at them. They were a skeleton. Black marks littered their white bones. They seemed to have an ink splotch on their cheek. I reached a hand out cautiously the wake them up.
3rd person POV
There was a house in the woods. It was glowing. Glowing red, orange, and yellow. A small boy desperately banged at the windows. He heard his family scream as the flames enveloped them. Hope momentarily reflected in his eyes as the glass started to crack. With a boost of determination, he managed to break the glass. He fell out of the window and onto the illuminated grass. His bones and clothes get cut on the glass shards. He fell from his second floor room onto his upper body. His arm was broken and cracks splintered his head. He felt dizzy but adrenaline prevented him from passing out. Scared he ran. He sprinted away from the house. He didn't know where he was going. Tears blurred his vision. He ran until he couldn't run anymore.
He didn't know where he was. He was in the dark woods alone. He slowed down. Breathing heavily. His adrenaline was starting to run dry. Then it came back in a spike as he heard something move in the bushes. He whirled around nearly tripping over himself. He waited in silence. He turned back around when he thought the close was clear. After taking a few steps he was jumped on from behinds. He turned to see a black whirl flying at him.
Encre's POV
I sat up with a startled gasp. I noticed someone flinch beside em as well. I took a few deep breaths. I closed my eyes for a second. Then reopened them. I turned to my side. I saw a black skeleton there. He looked like the vampire from earlier, but there were some differences. This one was smaller and had small pink markings under his eyes while the other had blue stripes circling the back of his head. He looked startled. Our eyes met. He averted his gaze.
"U-uh, a-are you ok?" He asked
"Ouais, juste un mauvais rêve ..." I responded.
(Yeah just a bad dream)
The boy perked up. "That's french right? Suave has been teaching me some. I don't know a lot though."
He then started mumbling to himself. Probably trying to translate what I said. I gave a small smile.
"Take your time." I said, my accent shining through
He then looked at me surprised.
"Wait, you speak english too?"
"Yep. I sometimes go back to speaking french unintentionally."
"Cool. So uh, can you answer my question earlier."
I gave a nod. "I'm fine, just a bad dream."
He gave a brisk nod in response.
"So what's a kid like you doing here?"
He puffed out his cheeks and pouted.
"I'm not a kid, I'm eighteen! Also I live here."
I couldn't help but give a small laugh. The teen looked at the floor flustered. We were both caught off guard when someone else entered the room. It was the vampire from the forest. He looked at me then to the kid.
"Jasper..."
The teen visibly flinched. They turned around slowly.
"H-hey dad..." He said.
So that vampire was his father. I guess that's why they look alike. I should be fine, as long as they don't find out.
"I thought I told you not to go in here." The vampire said in a stern voice.
"Chill vieil homme, il ne me dérange pas." I spoke up, speaking in french
(Chill old man, he's not bothering me.)
He stared at me with confusion. Jasper tried to hold back a laugh but failed.
"I think he just called you old." Jasper said, trying not to laugh.
His expression changed from confused to annoyed.
"Quoi? N'êtes-vous pas semi-immortel?" I said, humor in my tone
(What? Aren't you semi-immortal?)
He only seemed to understand the last bit, but he was still annoyed either way. He gave a sigh and walked closer. Putting a hand on Jasper's shoulder he ordered him to leave. The teen nodded and left, not before waving goodbye to me."
I smiled. "Au revoir!"
(Bye!)
My smile dropped as my attention turned to taller.

AN: I'm back, back again...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... i don't know how to continue this sentence. :/
Hey you get to see a bit of backstory. >>
So here's chapter two. It's longer than the others. I was just waiting for a good time to stop. Also Jasper is bean.
I'm using Google translate for the french, so some of it may be wrong.
Speaking of Google translate. I typed in "ink" and of course it translated to "encre". I clicked on the volume thing (?) to see how it was pronounced. It said something like "ohnk" or something. That surprised me, 'cause I always pronounced it the way it was spelled.
Anyways this isn't important.
Mini rants aside, I'm starting school so I may as much time to write. I will try my best though.
