Encre's POV (still)

I gave the taller vampire an expecting look. He just stared at me, annoyed.

"Quoi? Tu vas parler ou quelque chose comme ça?" I asked.

(What? Are you gonna talk or something?)

He just growled slightly. He brought his hand to his face and rubbed his temple. He lowered his hand and looked at me again.

"I don't understand what you're saying." He growled.

"Voulez-vous que je parle anglais ou quelque chose comme ça?" I responded snickering.

(Do you want me to speak english or something?)

"Je dois cependant vous prévenir. Mon accent est mauvais."I warned

(I have to warn you though. My accent is bad.)

He just looked more annoyed. I laughed. He raised a 'brow', his face turned into a grimace. That only made me laugh more.

"What's so funny?" He spat

"Nothing, you just look funny." I said, my accent making the words hard to comprehend.

He blinked, then just gave me an unamused glare. I snickered. He just sighed. He came closer to the bed. My smile fell again. I tensed up.

"So now that you're done mocking me, I would like you to answer questions."

I gave a hesitant nod. Still not willing to break eye contact.

"So mortal, what's your name?"

"Encre." I replied.

"Well Encre, what were you doing in the forest."

I froze. I couldn't reveal what I was, not yet. I took a deep breath and sighed.

"They think I'm bad because I believe not all 'mythical' creatures are bad. They saw me as a traitor and attempted to kill me. I ran into the forest. I don't remember much else though." I half-lied.

Fallacy's facial expression changed from annoyed to concerned. He looked away for a moment, as if he were thinking. He then sighed again.

" I'll make a decision in an hour on where you'll be staying. Until then, remain here. Do not leave or there will be consequences."

I nodded. Easy enough to do. I just had to sit here. He said I was staying here. At least now I don't have to worry about the hunters getting me, but now I have to worry about the vampires.

Just as he was about to leave, I spoke up.

"E-erm,if it's not too much trouble, could I have something to drink?" I asked.

The vampire looked at me, then growled slightly.

"I'll get one of the maids to bring you some water." He said before shutting the door.

Then I returned to my thoughts.

That vampire is familiar... but where?

Fallacy’s POV

I closed the door leaving the mortal alone. He’s annoying, I almost considered throwing him out into the woods again. Leaving a werewolf or another vampire to feast on his remains. I only kept him because of his blood. It would come in handy.

Well, he’s got looks, I’ll say that at least, But he’s immature. I mean, he mocked me, the VAMPIRE KING. I walked down the halls till I found one of my maids, I asked her to get a glass of water for the guest. She nodded and went off.

I returned to my study. I sat down at my desk and look at the papers scattered around the lacquered surface. The vampire kingdom was in danger. The Aube tribe was now the leader of the werewolves. War was a threatening possibility.

Unlike mortals, werewolves had an unfair advantage over vampires.  One bite of a werewolf would kill a vampire instantly. I don’t know how a vampire bite affects a werewolf though, since no one lived to tell the tale.

Edit: There's actually more.

Sorry it took so long. I actually had this written out but I thought I posted it already. I explained this in my update book but with ADHD comes hyper-fixations, one's that haven't been related to Undertale.

Sorry it's short.
