Y/N POV

"A quirk assessment test?" What a weird thing to do on the first day of school, but I suppose it makes sense. They need to know what are quirks are to train us effectively.

"But orientation. We're gonna miss it,"

"If you really want to miss the big leagues, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies. Here at UA we're not tethered to traditions. That means that I get to run my class however I see fit," At this point, everyone looked a little freaked out.

"You've been taking standardized test most of your lives, but you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The countries still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. Its not rational. One day the ministry of education will learn,"

Everything he was saying made sense. It sounded like something my father would say, but coming from him it was different. It made more sense.

"Bakugou, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam," The blonde kid who was sitting next to me in class perked up. I was surprised. He didn't seem like someone who would even pass the entrance exam, let alone get first place.

He was loud, rude, and abrasive, but he also seemed to be determined. He was also kinda cute, but that wasn't the point.

"What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"

"67 meters, I think,"

"Right. Try doing it with your quirk"

--

705.2 meters. That's how far he threw it with his quirk. I was getting a little worried. I had a decent amount of upper body strength, but how could I use my quirk to make the ball go further.

Everyone around me was excited to go next, probably because they've never really had the chance to show of their quirks before.

"So this looks fun, huh. You have three years here to become a hero, you think its all gonna be games and playtime," Once again, he was right. We were training to become pro heroes, this wasn't a game. I think that he was angry that my class thought of it that way.

"Today you will be competing in 8 physical test to gauge your potential. Who ever comes in last has none, and will be expelled immediately," Well that was a surprise. Did he even have the authority to expel us? It didn't matter, I was not going to get last. Some kids looked nervous, while others looked even more determined.

"You can't send one of us home.  I mean we just got here. Even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair," I laughed in my head. I thought it was funny that she thought things would be fair. Life isn't fair, so why should our education be.

"Oh you think natural disasters are? Or power hungry villains, hm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No! The world is full of unfairness. Its a hero's job to try to combat that unfairness,"

I could already tell that the pro hero in front of us was going to be a great teacher, and mold us into great heroes.

A/N

Lowkey in love with Aizawa, but that's not important. I'm going to actually try to have an updating schedule for this story, and right now I think I'll post every Sunday.
