Two

- After opening ceremony, at Daichi's class

"Okay. Next student, please introduce yourself!" the homeroom teacher instructed a girl who sat next to Daichi.

"Yes!" a girl with short, dark brown hair stood up and introduced herself.

"Hello, everyone! My name is Michimiya Yui. I was a volleyball player back in junior high school. Nice to meet you all!" she said cheerfully.

The homeroom teacher nodded and pointed Daichi to introduce himself. "Last one, the guy by the window".

Daichi rose to his feet and straightened his back.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Sawamura Daichi. I was also a volleyball player during junior high school. Nice to meet you," he bowed deeply before sat back to his chair.

Yui stole a glance and when Daichi looked back at her direction, she blushed real hard. Daichi smiled warmly at her which made her heart go wild. She slapped her cheeks lightly and tried to focus to their teacher.

Calm down, Yui. It's not like Daichi has any feelings for you. He's a dense guy when it comes to love. He only has volleyball in his mind. There's no way he sees you that way. She thought to herself.

Daichi stared at the sky from the window, ignoring Yui who was deep in thought. He didn't pay attention to whatever the homeroom teacher said. The only thing that wandered around his mind was Suga's beauty. The moment he locked eyes with Suga, he was drawn into that beautiful hazel color. The mole under his left eye made him look even cuter. His hair looked so soft and he tried hard to restrain himself from touching it earlier. Daichi didn't realize he smiled when he remembered the guy he met earlier this morning. But the smile soon faded as he remembered the gloom look on Suga's face during opening ceremony. Daichi wondered why did the guy seem upset.

- At the same time, at Suga's class

The homeroom teacher took attendance of his students to memorized their names and faces. He also asked them to introduce themselves to everyone in class. It was Suga's turn.

"Sugawara". Suga rose to his feet the moment his name being called by the homeroom teacher.

"Hello. My name is Sugawara Koshi. I graduated from Nagamushi junior high. I was a regular in my junior high volleyball club. Nice to meet you all," he threw his signature smile toward everyone. The smile that can made everyone, even the guys, fall in love with him. That's right. Even the guys.

"Okay. I've finished taking your attendance. Today's homeroom ends here. I'll see you guys tomorrow morning. Don't be late," the teacher warned them and left the classroom.

Suga was packing his things when some girls and guys approached him.

"Hello, Sugawara-san. My name is Kitayama Mio and she is my childhood friend, Ryugazaki Hana. Just call us Mio and Hana. Nice to meet you," a girl with long black hair introduced herself and her twintail brown haired childhood friend.

"Hi. I'm Kitagawa Jun and he is Kitagawa Issei. We're cousins. You can call us Jun and Issei, by the way. Nice to meet you," a guy with black spiky hair introduced himself and his blonde short haired cousin.

"Nice to meet you all. You can call me Suga," he replied to them.

"Suga-san, earlier you said that you were a volleyball player during junior high, right? Are you going to join the volleyball club too in high school?" Jun asked with curiousity.

Suga nodded firmly. "Yes. I love volleyball a lot. So of course I'm gonna join the club. What about you guys? Are you going to join any club?"

"Hana-tan and I are going to join the art club. We're not good at sport. Hehe," Mio scratched her cheek shyly.

"Jun and I are going to join the basketball team. We were regulars during our junior high," Issei replied.

"Wow. You guys were regulars? Which school you guys went to?" Hana asked curiously.

"We went to Minami junior high. What about you girls?"

"Wow. The school which famous for their basketball team? We went to Santa Maria junior high," Hana answered the question.

"Ah. It's a private all girls school, isn't it? The one with escalating system. I heard they also have high school there. What makes you girls decided to enter a co-ed high school?," it was Suga's turn being curious.

"Well... we just need a change of pace or something like that? Both of us went to all girls school since elementary. You can't get a boyfriend there. We don't want to waste our youth in an all girls school anymore," Mio answered with a playful wink, followed by the laugh of the other four.

"So the two of you entered this school because you are desperate to get boyfriends," Jun smirked mischievously and got a punch on his arm. He yelped because Mio gave him a death glare. Issei can't help but snorted at his cousin's careless remark. This time Mio threw her death glare toward him and he chose to stay silent.

"Of course not! It was a joke! Mio-chin, why did you say something like that," Hana desperately tried to correct what Mio said earlier. The five of them laughed in unison.

"Okay, guys. I think it's enough. I need to go to the club now. See you guys tomorrow," Suga rose from his feet and waved goodbye to his classmates. They waved back and got ready for their own clubs.

- Back at Daichi's class

"That's all for today. Tomorrow will be the beginning of first semester. Be careful on your way home". The teacher left the classroom immediately.

Daichi packed his things and got ready for volleyball practice. He had to submit his registration form before the practice start.

"Daichi, are you going to join any club?" Yui stood up from her desk. Daichi stopped on his track and turned around.

He shrugged. "Yeah. I'm gonna join the volleyball club".

Yui's eyes lightened up. "Me too!"

Daichi flashed a smile and waved his hand to Yui then proceeded to volleyball club.
