We have finally gotten adjusted to moving every so often we've seen survivors bit not friendly. And I think she's starting to like and trust me. But right now the Walkers are really bad because live meat is becoming scarce. As I look over she is just now waking up "Mornin sunshine" and she just throws a pillow at me and giggles. So I finally get up and go make a treat bacon with instant eggs. She comes down stairs with the bacon filling the room and when it finally gets done we digg in. And get ready to go when we get ready I make sure its safe outside and then we start moving in the shadows when we see 2 big thugs harassing a little kid. And without me knowing she moved ahead and yells at them and lucky me they turn around with assault rifles and all we have its a bolt action and a pistol. So I raise my ruffle and shoot one in the head and the other gets taken out by her pistol. And we were to late they had already killed him and she just drops to her knees and cries. Once I get done grabbing all of there gear I go and comfort her. And she just kisses me do I kiss her back then we keep moving. And then after a few hours of walking we see a heli fly over. And we decide to follow it and what we find its unexpected. Right in front of us its a huge military base with walls 30 or more feet high and men aiming straight at us. So we both lower our guns but they don't and the big metal doors open and out steps an army. And a general dressed I'm formal attire. And he does a sign for them to lower there weapons which they do in an instant. "so woody brings you two here" and she speaks up"we saw the heli" "oh I see" "well no matter come on in" as we follow him in we see housing for soldiers and citizens who are still alive and a huge weapon depot. "I still don't see how you are still alive"says the general" "its called scavenging" I say in a respectful voice. "I suspect your hungry" asks the general "yes sir" she says and as I see a smile stretch across his face 2 soldiers come in with mre's "best food in the apocalypse" and we both laugh at Kayla remark and dig in. When we get done he tells us he needs us for a mission the cure.
