Chapter 14

The three flew down onto the overworld. They glanced around the darkened forest "You lead the way Tony" Paige insisted. Tony walked to the same direction to where Colin would normally meet up with him while the know behind him followed. Tony heard a twig snap. "Colin?" An unfamiliar demon instead peaked from a tree. "Oh why hello there~" The demon smirked

Tony groaned "We don't want any trouble with you ok.. We're just here to meet up with someone.." "That's what you think.." the demon snarled, his smirk getting wider. He whistled and more faces of demons appears. They counted about 12 demons around them and closed in on them, cornering them in the middle. "Uhh.... Tony?" "Yeah??" "What now..?" Tony pulled out his switch blade. He knew it was too small but he knew that a small weapon was better than none. The demons burst into laughter seeing Tony's small switch blade "You think that small knife is going to protect you from us??" One of the demons said, cackling "Stay back!" Tony waved his knife around. The demon grabbed Tony's hands tightly, he couldn't swing his knife at the demon, struggling to break away from his grip

"No one's here to help you! If you behave you'll have a faster death you'll die slower and painfully if you fight back" A large twig snapping behind them made them all turn to the direction of the sound. Where a dark figure stood leaning on a tree. The demon snarled "Who are YOU?!?" he shouted. The figure smirked "I thought you would recognize my by now.." Tony smiled. The black figure walked into the illuminating moonlight and pulled out a familiar red bladed scythe

"RUN!!" One of the demons shouted and they all scattered. Tony grabbed both of Shrignold's and Paige's arm's running behind a nearby tree to hide. Two demons charged at Colin, he swung his scythe cutting them both into half vertically. One demon came up behind Colin and wrapped their arms around his neck and started choking him. Colin struggled to breathe but quickly hit the demon with the blunt edge of his scythe knocking him down and impaled the demon. He threw the Corspe aside impaling another through the mouth and dragged it up cutting their head in half

Blood splattered on Colin's clothes and scythe he looked in the distance seeing more running in the distance. He one lucky throw, he swung his scythe around. He threw it at the demons running away, the scythe tore through the demon's throats decapitating about 5 demons. 3 escaped but he didn't care enough to go after them. The scythe hit the bark of a tree stopping from going any further. Tony, Paige and shrignold peaked over the tree to Colin. The demon walked over to his trusty scythe and ripped it out of the tree

He stroked his blood soaked weapon making sure it was still sharp and wasn't damaged in any way. "Colin?" Tony called out. Colin turned his head to face the three angels. He wiped the blood off his mask and walked to Tony. "It took you long enough to arrive" "Oh I'm sorry it's not my fault 12 demons cornered us" Tony placed his hands on his hip. Colin bent down. And looked at Paige and Shrignold, cocking his head "I thought you said you were bringing alone 1 person" "We ran into someone and I decided to let him tag along"

Tony motioned for them to introduce themselves "I'm Paige and this is my boyfriend Shrignold" "Hello..!" They greeted. Colin stood up to his full height bending down slightly "I'm Colin, you probably already have heard of me" he held out his hand. Paige shook his hand seemingly intrigued that she was shaking a famous demon's hand. Shrignold shook his hand as well he looked Colin up and down. "Jesus how tall are you..?" He asked "7'1" "What??!" The both said at the same time

Colin chuckled, Tony didn't notice at he time that Colin has horns that went through his cloak "Your horn's, they're bigger than usual" "Does he always have horns?" "Haha actually no, it's usually small it just grows large sometimes" "Didn't you say it grows when your mad, were you mad because we were surrounded~?" "Maybe~ these horn's are uncomfortable when they're going through my cloak" Colin placed his scythe on his back

"I'm guessing you wanted me to just meet your friends" Colin turned preparing to walk off. "Someone wanted to tag along and meet you.." Tony glared at Paige. Colin started walking off. "Wait!" Colin stopped in his tracks and turned his head. "We were wondering if we could come over to your place?" Colin looked like he was about to face palm even under the mask. His eyes basically said "You've got to be kidding me" Colin slightly chuckled saying "I'm not sure if you can" he turned fully. Paige nudged at Tony "Use your charm" Paige whispered. Tony rolled his eyes and stepped towards Colin

"Pleasseee..??" Tony did his best sad face. Colin was taken off guard and started to chuckle as his horns shrank. Tony kept this going for about 4 minutes, while Colin didn't take it seriously. "You know you can't charm demons right?" "Well crap" Colin laughed "If your so desperate then I can let you all probably stay, but your going to have to avoid being seen by a demon" Colin walked off motioning for them to follow him, Paige smiled and ran after him grabbing shrignold's arm. Tony ran after them, stopping beside Colin, holding his hand

Colin made his way to the exact same crack he went to his house. Colin jumped in first scouting the area to make sure no demon was around. He motioned for them to come down. The flew down "Jesus, it's so hot. How are you even able to stay here for years??" "Quiet down if you don't want to get caught" Colin walked to the door quickly unlocking it and opened the door for them as they rushed inside. "You've got a nice place for a demon" Shrignold said "I thought your house would look like a slaughter house" "Just because I kill for a living doesn't mean I don't have a decent household" Colin replied closing the door behind him

The three sat on the sofa and started chatting while Colin went to his room and sat on his bed. About to remove his cloak when his phone rang. "Hello?" He said into the phone "Greeting's Colin. I have a new assignment for you. I need you to meet at the same place as usual to receive details" "I'll be over asap" "Good, I'm waiting for you" the demon hung up. Colin gave himself a good stretch and grabbed his sling bag, a knife and a pistol placing extra ammo inside the bag. He wiped the blood of his scythe and made sure his cloak wasn't that dirty and made his way out of the bedroom. "I have to go do a favour for a friend. Keep the doors and blinds closed"

That's all that Colin said before he went out of the house. Once he locked the door he bolted and leaped up shape shifting into a dragon. The dragon flapped it's wings taking flight to it's next destination
