The game's plot is realistic at all times. Years and people change, but wars remain on our land. The battle with the Fire Legion has left Azeroth's world in ruins, and the shattered trust between the Alliance and the Horde will be the hardest to restore. In Battle for Azeroth, the fall of the Legion marked the beginning of a series of catastrophic incidents that fueled an age-old fierce rivalry between the noble Alliance and the mighty Horde. The era of war begins, in which azeroth's heroes must find new alliances in the race to capture the most powerful resources in the world. Each side wants to turn the tide in its favor, while both the Alliance and the Horde are fighting on several fronts to determine which side of the conflict will lead Azeroth to its uncertain future.
