[DISCONTINUED]Heros In The Underground

Sans the Skeleton~Chapter 8

 While I was writing, I was putting spaces in between the letters for some of sans' lines, and this google translate thing popped up and said I was typing in indonesian, so I clicked the english button and all it did was take away the spaces in between the letters. Don't worry, I left it in 'indonesian' apparently. XD

The colassoal, mauve door shut behind us with a loud 'THUD'  as we stepped into the a blanket of colorless snow. I looked at our surroundings, taking in every detail.  We seemed to be in a snowy forest, the trees bare of their leaves. Snow was falling on the already snow-covered ground. I glanced around again, confused. Yes, I understand that Toriel had said we needed to be prepared for cold weather but snow?  Snow was completely uncalled for.  They were thousands of feet underground, there shouldn't be any snow. Much less how was it actively snowing? The we had only been in this universe for a little over a day, and I have never been more confused in my life. First they started falling  down a thousand foot deep hole in the middle of a battle, before again lady takes us to her house to heal us, then, after hours of theorizing we realize we were in a different world!?! And now, they were standing in pure white snow, even though we were in a cave. 

I think I should just give up on logic at this point. Yeah, that'd be good.

We kept walking until we passed a giant branch in the middle of the path. Stepping over it, we kept walking. Suddenly a loud 'SNAP'  came from behind us. me and Uraraka snapped around, and Todoroki akso turned to the noise, just slower. 

 I looked around for the source of the noise, then I noticed the branch. It was broken. How? That branch was to big for someone to break with there hands... Maybe a quirk? No... The people in this world had magic, not quirks. Whatever had broken it seemed scary, so I probably shouldn't mess with it. I quickly caught up with Todoroki, clinging to him for dear life. We kept walking until  we reached a odd archway. I tried to walk forward onto the bridge that went through the arch, but my body felt to heavy to move. Okay this is scary. I glanced up at Todoroki, and he seemed very startled. The snow was crunching behind us, which meant someone was coming closer. 

A deep voice came from behind us. 

" H u m a n s , d o n ' t   y o u   k n o w   h o w   t o   g r e e t   a   n e w   p a l l   ?  Turn   a r o u n d     a n d  s h a k e   m y   h a n d."  It said. 

Me and Uraraka clung even closer to Todoroki as he turned around. The stranger was covered in shadows and we couldn't see his face, and he came up to about Todoroki's  chin.  Todoroki reached out and shook the strangers hand. As soon as there hands touched however, a loud 'wwwppph'  sounded out. The shadow covering the strangers features retreated. He was a skeleton, with a wide mask-like grin. He was wearing a blue hoodie, with some black shorts that had white stripes down the sides. He was also wearing pink slippers. Odd.

"heh. the old whoopie cushion in the hand trick. always funny."  Uraraka giggled and I struggled to hold back a laugh. Todoroki kept a straight face, but I could tell he would have let out a small laugh if he trusted the stranger, which he didn't.  The weight on my body lifted as I stepped out of behind Todoroki. 

"Hello! I'm Izuku midoriya, but you can call me deku!" I smiled at him. In the back of my head, all I could do was theorize how he is a walking, talking, skeleton. Though I guess it shouldn't be to surprising. I mean, so far i've met a anthropomorphic goat, who didn't know what a quirk was, though it   was clear she had one as she was a well... goat. And Todoroki had described some frogs that used magic flies to attack, as well as a talking rock. Since when did rocks have quirks or was it a human whose quirk was to be a rock... Oh god...Right I said I would stop questioning this world logic, so that's exactly what I need to do.

"hey. I'm sans. sans the skeleton." Wait... Sans? Wasn't that the name of the monster we needed to find? Well, that didn't take very long. "anyways, i''m actually supposed to be on watch for humans right now (I just need to say, that i'm listening to hamilton songs while doing this... and i just wrote " kill you friends family to remind you of" before I realized what I was writing and how well it works with genocide) but i don't really care all that much. my brother is human hunting fanatic, so watch out. go ahead and pass through this gate thingy." I was confused, it wa a gate? I thought it was like a really weird arch way. I looked back at the 'gate' gesturing to it with my hand. "yeah, just go right through, my bro made the bars to wide to stop anyone. i'll meet you ahead. " Sans walked back towards the purple door. 

Okaaay.... We walked through the 'gate'and came across a small sentry station.  White snow was piled on the wooden covering, and ketchup bottles littered the sides of small table-like area under it. In the middle of the table, sat a skeletal head, resting in a pair o farms covered by a blue material. Sans I realised. But how? He had went the other way. Oh whatever. 

San' round head looked up at us, and he let out a quiet yawn. A faint yell could  be heard in the distance, and I was sure I heard Sans' name.

"Well, that would probably be my bro. You should probably hide. Quick behind these conveniently shaped lamps." Sans pointed at a three lamps lined up beside his station.the one farthest from him had a chocolaty brown covering and a pink bottom, the second one had a dark green covering, with a light gray bottom, and the last one had a light white top, with an red bottom. Odd, they all looked like they were made to be lamp versions of us, kinda.

I nodded and grabbed Todoroki's and Uraraka's hands, dragging them with me behind the lamps. The lamps that looked like us also matched pur heights and width perfectly, making them easy to hide behind. It also made me wonder just how this would work, as we were clearly visible from the path. Oh well. 

The yelling got louder and more distinct, and just as we got situated, a tall skeleton walked from the path. He was wearing a hard-looking crop-top like thing, as well as a bright red scarf and a pair of blue, uh...spedo's with a yellow rim that looked just as hard as the top. (Don't....)

    "SANS! WAKE UP LAZY BONES! WE HAVE TO BE ON WATCH INCASE ANY MORE HUMANS COME BY!"

Like I said in the a/n I am really sorry for the lack of updates. School sucks.

Also, its a couple days late, but happy *late* 5th birthday/anniversary Undertale!
