"Hey, (N/n), look!"
A six-year-old (Y/n) found herself being unwillingly tugged outside the safety of the car by two overly energetic individuals she was truly regretting befriending. The Grayson twins. Pull them apart and she would be fine but put them together and (Y/n) felt like she was about to die.
The little girl groaned audibly as she dug her feet into the floor of the car and clung to her car seat like a monkey. "You can't make me go out there," she scowled, glaring at the bright slash of red hair framed by bright sunlight and the endless, green-and-purple clearing. "This is bullying. You're both ganging up on me to torture me!"
"Oh, c'mon," one of the boys said. "It's not that bad." He tightened his grip on her wrist and pulled harder. Then his tooth grin turned mischievous. "Well...if it's torture you want..."
He angled his head at his brother whose mouth turned up a corner. "You know what to do, Riley, right?"
(Y/n)'s face paled. "Wait, you two wouldn't dare—"
"TICKLE ATTACK!"
"AHHHHHH!"
The (h/c)-haired girl shrieked like a banshee when all of a sudden she found herself tangled up in her seatbelt as she was being tickled. Tears beaded at the corner of her eyes and she began choking on her laughter. "S-stop it, guys! You still have time to stop or I won't forgive you!"
The ringleader of the crime paused his tickling only to give her a dubious look. "And what are you going to do, tell on me?"
"MR. GRAYS—"
"Wait—Okay, we'll stop! Just don't say anything to my old man—"
"Who's an old man?!"
Reese screeched as a sharp pain exploded on the top of his head. Riley's eyes widened as their father appeared out of nowhere to hit his brother across the head. Mr. Grayson was a tall, stocky fellow that screamed danger, but not in a bad way. He was the kind of guy that would be sought after by many girls in his teenage years, since many of them seemed to be weirdly attracted to the "bad boy" persona.
"What was that for?!" Never one to back down for confrontation, even if it was from his own father, Reese spun around and glared at his attacker. "You stupid old man, why'd ya hit me?!"
"Why did I hit you?" At this point, (Y/n)'s parents had come over from the other side of the car to observe their newfound entertainment. Mr. Grayson cuffed his son across the head again for good measure. "You tell me, boy. Who was it bullying poor (Y/n) and calling me old, huh?! I'm still young, you brat!"
Reese turned redder than a tomato and took a threatening step towards his father. "Whaddya say, old fart?!"
"I'm not old, boy! Treat your elders with respect!"
Riley stepped away from the two and closer to (Y/n). He brushed his bangs that concealed one of his vibrant green eyes away from his face and turned towards her. "Come on," he said quietly in an annoyed voice. "Let's ignore those idiots and play our game."
