grasping out,
struggling to breathe
they sunk deeper
into the sea
They couldnt control them;
the waves crashing down.
drowning their cries,
pushing them out.
Slowly but surely
the numberes had dwindeled
left them alone,
lifeless and still.
As the years moved on,
they never got past it.
Holding on;
it was still to tragic.
But now their smiling
not in the sea
but in the earth
six feet deep
