Chapter 17

Okay guys a lot has happened since the last chapter. I have a new book out called Stable Boy ~ Cinderella so you should go check that out. So far it's only the prolouge, but I'm working on chapter 1 later today! We also got 1K views on the book (which is why I released the book) but I'm so happy that we got there! Honestly I would give you an estimate on how long this chapter would be, but I have no idea and they always end up being a different length than what I originally have planned so I'm just going with the flow on this. I know the POVs are getting repetitive, but I swear next chapter will be Liam or Louis, but also this is a Narry book so I don't feel bad for putting in much more Narry stuff. Now on with the chapter!

Harry

Niall and I look up and see Robin my step-father, my mother and older sister Gemma in my doorway, with a big grin on Robin's face.

"Mum!" I say and run over to her and give her a hug.

"Awww no love for your big sister Hazzy?" Gemma pouts and I give her a playful smile, and I go over to her and almost hug her, before turning around and going to hug dad first.

Mum and dad laugh but Gemma pouts and I go over and give her a big hug, which she immediatly returns.

"Who's this fine fellow?" Mum asks and I look over to Niall who is awkwardly standing looking at them, but also looking at the ground.

"That's Niall he's Liam's cousin, but he's staying here since he and Liam had a fight." I explain avoiding telling them about the Louis and Niall situatation.

"What about Louis? Won't he get jealous you have another boy staying here, and by the looks of it in your bedroom?" Robin asks and I sigh.

"Louis and I kinda broke up." I say and Gemma gasps, but mum and dad don't look surprised.

"Oh honey, I'm sorry to hear that, but I think we all knew it wasn't going to last." Mum says and I look at her appalled.

"What?"

"Oh well maybe at the beginning, but then he only came over a few times and you never went on dates. He came over for a shag and left before you woke up." Mum explains and I look at her slightly embarrassed my mother is talking about my sex life while my crush is in the room.

Yes I've acknowledged Niall is my crush.

Niall laughs a little bit and I shoot him a look and he shuts up.

Gemma walks over to him and walks arounf him like she's inpecting him. I mean she is but like he's a piece of work in an art musuem. I mean his is like a piece of artwork, but like it's weird what she's doing.

"I approve." She finally says and Niall lets out a sigh of relief and mum stifles a laugh, and Robin doesn't even hide his. I frown at my family.

"What are you guys even doing back? You were gone for like 3 days." I ask and Gemma shrugs but mum gives me a look.

"The school called, said you were missing to many classes and we came back hoping you have a valid reason."

"I do I swear!" I say hurridly and mum's look tells me to continue.

"It's Niall-"

"Harold Edward Styles do not blame your guest!" Mum says loudly and I roll my eyes.

"No Ma'am it really is my fault." Niall says, but I shake my head at that too.

"It's not Niall's fault. Yes Niall is the reason, but it's not his fault and it's my choice. Louis beat up Niall, we broke up, I let Niall stay the night with me, we went to Niall's house to grab some clothes, and Liam and Louis were seconds away from doing the dirty, so Niall is staying with me while he heals." I give them the short and sweet version of what happened and mum's face softens considerably.

"Oh I'm so sorry that happened," mum says and Niall gives her a small smile and shrugs.

"Doesn't hurt to much, and Harry's been taking real good care of me." Niall says and I smile at his sweet words.

"Of course! It's the least I could do considering it was my boyfriend at the time." I say and he smiles.

Mum shakes her head sadly.

"I always liked Louis, but I knew he wasn't the right fit for you, and you were probably better off as friends." She says and I smile sadly, knowing Louis and I will never be the same.

We ended up moving on from that topic and onto Niall and his music, and I can see his face lighting up as he talks about musicical influences and his favourite artists. He actually really likes an artist named Ed Sheeran, who is signed to my dad's label, but I'm not sure Niall knows that.

"You know? I just had a artist leave, wanting to be out of the spotlight. I have been trying to fill the spot, and Niall I think you would be a perfect canidate." My dad brings up. (I know that's not how it works but whatever.)

Niall looks dumbfounded.

"Me? I like playing music and signing sure, but I'm not good enough to be signed to a label like yours sir. I don't want this just because I'm Harry's friend. I have no previous experience in preforming or recording, besides playing small gigs in a local pub back home in Ireland, and even then there was maybe 10 people max." Niall rambles and dad laughs.

"I heard you playing and singing with my son, and I assume it's an original, since I song that good I would've heard. Also I don't care about experience. I pick up aspiring artists I think really have a chance, they just haven't gotten it yet. Plus I would never offer something just because you're friends with Harry." Dad says honestly and I nod affirmingly.

"So what do you say Niall? Give it a shot? I'll give you a real short contract. Just 5 songs with the label, and if you don't like it, you don't have to extend it. I think you have real potiental, and I want to see if it gets you anywhere."

Niall looks nervous, but I can see he's excited to be given the opportunity.

"I would love to sir. 5 songs sounds great too!" Niall says and I along everyone else break into a big smile.

"Wonderful! I think this is going to be really good." Dad says and Niall nods shyly.

We talk more about the contract and about how everything would go down. Niall called his mum who was estatic for him and thanked dad about a hundred times for giving him the chance.

Everything is actually going well.

This year might be good.

OKAY! So in the middle of writing this I realized a sorta big plot problem, and so I've decided Desmond isn't a Styles, and Harry, Gemma, and Anne took Robin's last name, since he's the one with Styles Record Labels. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Anyways, how did you like the chapter? Sorry it's been a couple more days than I would like. The holiday has been crazy and I've been spending a lot of time with other people and not alone in my room writing Narry fanfics.
