There were now a few mounds of dead birds scattered in a straight line. The poor animals hit the invisible wall and fell to the ground dead.

He observed for some time, when a bird approached the school, its beak bent, it bent its head, probably broke its neck and several bones of the body and fell hard on the ground. That late afternoon several birds were flying back to the nest, so several fell at the same time. It looked like a rain of the dead.

One fell on Yeosang's feet with a noise that echoed in the boy's head. He was still moving and breathing hard, but soon he stopped moving and Yeosang wanted to cry when he saw the blood seeping from the birds' bodies and floating on the invisible wall, it was indeed a rain of blood.

He heard someone calling him, that's what broke him out of that magic.

"Y-Yeosang?" He called out a sweet, friendly voice. He was terrified by the way.

When Yeosang turned, he saw that it was San who called him. His hands were shaking, and the boy was looking everywhere with a little frantic eyes.

"San, were you here when this thing happened?" He said 'Thing' when he didn't really know what it should be called. It was an accident?

San nodded. He slowly explained what happened to him and Yunho. Yeosang was amazed at the story of the man cut in half.

"So what was on that stretcher was only half the man?"

Without the courage to answer with words, San nodded again, and Yeosang just raised both hands to his mouth, astonished. His phobia wanted to attack again, but he controlled himself, pretending everything was fine and continued to speak.

"Can you see that wall, San?" He shook his head. The boy's hands were shaking, his voice was gone from his throat.

Yeosang took the boy's hand. He gave him an assertive and benevolent smile. He brought San's hand close to the barrier so that the boy could touch it, feel it too. It was not a dream.

A shock wave went through San and he withdrew his hand, but like Yeosang, he approached it again, as if wanting to feel that vibration again.

San was scared the second time he felt the shock, it was a dream, wasn't it? Yeosang motioned for San to stop. He said that everything was fine, that it was no longer dangerous there, it was not a bomb that exploded, but the helicopter that hit the invisible wall. San's mouth made a small O in surprise.

"I'm going to try to see the end of this thing ... San, do you want to come with me?" Asked Yeosang still holding San's hand. The poor boy already had his share of adventures today, but something tempted him to go with Yeosang to seek an end to it.

Until one hand held tightly on San's wrist, and the other pushed Yeosang back a few inches, not with the intention of hurting, just push the other away. It was Wooyoung and he looked furious.

"Don't touch it, Sangie." He spoke as if Yeosang was guilty of something. Wooyoung thought he was. "How do you dare to show up here? While everyone kills themselves to help, you stay here dragging others into more trouble!" His eyes shot Yeosang. He placed himself bodily between his ex-best friend and his lover, as if Yeosang was dangerous.

"Woo ... You've been weird since yesterday! You didn't answer me, you didn't say anything today either!" Exclaimed Yeosang, taking offense at what Wooyoung had said. "You know I was off today, and I came as soon as I did, but I didn't have much to do."

Yeosang did not understand Wooyoung's overnight change, but he soon realized that his best friend was injured in his chin, scratches on his body and seemed to be limping a little.

"Did someone hit you? Or was it the accident? Woo, are you okay?" His voice was of genuine concern, he understood nothing. But asking all of that just infuriated Wooyoung more. He squeezed San's wrist automatically, harder than he wished.

"Woo, let me go!" San said abruptly, but Woo didn't let go. "I don't know what happened between the two of you, but it's not the time for that! Let's go back and let the authorities take care of this." He patted Wooyoung on the shoulder and looked at Yeosang pleading with him to leave it for later. He was right.

"OK!" Said Yeosang marching towards the field. He was too stressed to talk to Wooyoung without losing his mind. It was better to be gone anyway, maybe I shouldn't even have come to school.

"Woo ... What was that? I thought you were friends ... What happened?" San started, but stopped as soon as Wooyoung quickly turned to face him, his expression was still angry, although he was more softened as soon as he met San's frightened eyes. Soon after he continued. "Anyway ... Thanks, Woo ... I thought I wasn't going to make it."

Wooyoung said nothing, just let go of his anger and wrapped San in a hug that surprised the boy completely. Woo didn't hug anyone. Not even. He only hugged him back when he felt he was going to fall to the ground, the other supported him and rubbed the boy's back in a way to calm him down.

"It's okay, San. I'm here. It's going to be okay now."

Although it was far from over.
