Half Light

°CHAPTER 6°

The next day I woke up early and gave a call to Mina
"Hello?"
"Hey Mina are you ready?...we have to go to Taehyung's house"
"Yeah...I'm just heading towards our meeting spot"
"Okay, I'll be there too"
I hang up and we both met at our meeting spot near our neighborhood  and we both headed towards the forests
We arrived at the empty house at exact 2PM......we waited and waited but there was no sign of Taehyung
"Where is he?!?!", Mina sighed in frustration
"I don't know", I sighed
"Its 2:30 Amber!!I'm going home!" Mina was angry
We were about to leave until we saw Taehyung running towards us
"Hi..sorry for  being late...I..uh slept in", he scratched the back of his head
"YOU SLEPT IN?! We've been waiting for you since half an hour!! And you slept in?!,Mina screamed at him
"Jeez calm down lady", he rolled his eyes

After a walk of 10 minutes they reached Taehyung's house
"So that's it we're here at my house " , he said
Their mouth formed an "o" shape to see his big house
"This is a mansion not a house", Amber giggled
Taehyung smiled at her giggle
They entered the house and got greeted by a woman who must be in her 50s dressed neatly and her hair done into a neat bun...
"Hello young ladies" she smiled charmingly
"Hello", we both said and  bowed to her in respect
Taehyung went up to her and hugged her  "Mom these are my friends and they're here to prepare our project and girls this is my mom" , he introduced to each other
"Its nice to meet you Mrs. Kim" I said....I'm Lee Amber and this is Park Mina
"It's nice to meet you to darling" she smiled

We did our project and it was getting late we were coming down to the main hall where we saw Mrs. Kim
"Where are you going? She asked us
" To our house?" Mina said
"But I expected you guys will stay here till dinner" she said
"Umm No Ma'am it's okay...we're already late" I explained
"I'm sorry young lady...you have to stay here till dinner or it will be against our rules" , she grinned and lead us towards the table

☆DINNER TIME☆

" I hope you will enjoy it" Mrs. Kim said
"Your won't join us?", Mina asked Taeheyung
Taehyung's and his mother's facial features darkened after this question
"I'm sorry for this", Amber apologised and kicked Mina under the table
"Umm No no...he doesn't live with us" , she laughed it off
"Oh I see..."

☆AFTER DINNER☆
"Thank you for the delicious dinner Mrs. Kim , we really enjoyed it, I thanked her
"No problem honey...keep coming here"...she said and hugged me and Mina ..."Taehyung will drop you off" she smiled
"No it's okay...you've already done too much for us...we can go by ourselves ", Mina stated
"No its dangerous here as I told you...let's hurry before the clock strucks 9 Taehyung interrupted
"What happens at 9? I asked
"N-nothing...it gets pretty dark and wild here..let's go..."

Taehyung walked us to our neighbourhood
"It's okay I can go from here ...my house is  near"...I assured him
"Okay...bye.." he said
"I'll email you the PowerPoint then you can adjust the matter" , I said
"Yeah...Don't worry, I'll do it", he smiled
We dropped Mina at her house who lives few blocks before my house
I turned around to go to my house but I thought I should thank him for dinner again... I turned around to thank him but he was nowhere to be seen...
