CHASE ME

Last night dream somewhat scared me little.

I walked to school since my school wasn't really far and I don't want to burden my mom.

I went to my class and get on my seat.

"Okay class, since Miss Haseul can't attend today, I will replaced her for today. You guys can do whatever you want just don't be too loud. Mr Daisuke smiled and sit on the teachers chair doing his work.

I decided to sleep since I really can't get any sleep after the nightmare.

I tried to open my eyes but its like they're being stitched. A creepy yet relaxing music that can be heard calmed me a little.

While drowning myself in the music, I tried to open my eyes but I can't see anything.

I blinked making sure that I really opened my eyes. Using my sense, I can conclude that I am on a bed based on the soft and bouncy surface.

A sudden light appeared between a gap of the door in front of me shocked me a little.

I woke up slowly approaching the door but stopped when I saw a shadow that moves past the door.

BAAM

A loud slam on the table surprised me made me awake from my dream

"Y/N! How long are you going to sleep?" Miss Arin glared at me. Its her period after Miss Haseul.

Shoot. I slept too long.

"As a detention for sleeping in my class you will spending 1 hour with student council to help them" Miss Arin said walking away.

I nodded and pays attention to the class.

When the class is over, I brought myself to the student council room.

"Hello?" I knocked the door and opened when a soft voice replied with 'come in'

"Its you!" I said shockingly when I saw the girl that helped me yesterday standing in front of a desk smiling at me.

"Its me!" She answered smiling.

I froze seeing her smile. Its like I'm almost blind due to her smiles.

"Well, our work won't be done if you keep standing there" she said walking to her seat.

"Oh! Sorry! So what should I help?"

"You can help me by organising these paperworks and help me bringing those boxes to throw out"

I nodded and started working.

When everything is done, I walked to the clubroom and find the girl was cleaning her table.

"You're done?" I asked

"Yes, thanks to you. We finished early. You may go home now"

I nodded and took my backpack and started walking away.

On my way, I just realised that I still don't know her name.

I hanged my head low mumbling stupid repeatedly.

After finishing my homework, I get ready to sleep and finally diving to my dreamland.

I slowly opened the door and looked around to make sure theres nobody outside.

It's a hallway and it looked like a hotel based on the carpet and numbered doors.

Out of nowhere, a strong wind came from my left passed in front of me. I turned my head to the right and saw a tall, long-haired girl wearing a nurse(?) outfit facing their back towards me. She looked back and I can saw a small smile/smirk right before she turned left walking away.

Curious, I decide to follow her.

I think she knows that I'm following her when she fastened her pace and I copied her. I keep chasing her until she stopped right in front of a door. While looking at me, she get into the door. I rushed to the door trying to get in but the door is locked. It's until I found out the number stamped above the door.

"808"

I rest my hand on the door after trying several times to open the door.

Suddenly the lights turned off.

I panicked a little but then I felt a hand pulling me gently signalling to follow them. The hand is so soft, like a girl hand.

I blindly follows them until they stopped and I bump into them. That's when I'm sure that it was a girl.

I immediately said sorry but she just keep silent.

She guided me to sit on a chair.

That's when the lights turned on.

I'm startled looking at my own reflection but calmed when I found out I was sitting in front of a dresser.

I turned around analysing the room then a sudden thud surprised me causing me to find the source of the sound.

A medium-sized book laying on the floor.

"It must've been falling from the shelves" I said while looking up.

When I tried to walk towards the book, more books are falling from the shelves which made me stepped back shocked.

The lights suddenly flickered and scares me.

I faced the mirror and saw that there's someone behind me.

I looked back but there's nobody.

The person is still there but only in the mirror.

I froze because I'm too scared and next thing that I know was that I passed out after hearing a voice saying

"Aw, she's scared"

I woke up on a bed looking around. The walls were covered with frames of pictures on each space not letting a spot uncovered with a picture.

I walk to a picture of someone that I recognised.
