Kirishima and Kaminari sat on the floor of Kaminari's dorm room. It was dark, and the only lights in the room were from the TV, which they were playing Overwatch on, and the dim light from Bakugou's phone, because he'd agreed to hang out with them but refused to play. Kaminari and Kirishima were taking turns playing on Denki's account, passing the controller back and forward between matches. It was currently Kaminari's turn.
"Hurry up, you're running out of time!" Kirishima said, watching as Denki played. "Quiet, I'm trying," he said. They had less than a minute left. His team was close to winning, but not close enough. "Go go go go go-" Kirishima cut himself off when Denki died. "Dude," he said. "It's fine, we can still win," Kaminari said, shoving him while impatiently waiting to respawn. He ran back to where the rest of his team was, but just as he arrived time ran out, and there was nothing he could do. Both yelled in frustration as the word DEFEAT appeared on the screen.
"Could you two shut the hell up, I'm trying to read," Bakugou called over without looking up. Defeated, Kaminari dramatically flung himself backwards, intending to lie down on the floor, but instead hitting his head on the bed behind him. "Oww," he complained, sitting back upwards and holding the back of his head. "That's what you get, dunce face," Bakugou said, smirking at his phone. "You good dude?" Kirishima asked. Kaminari nodded, then winced. "Yeah, I'm fine. Here, you play," he said, passing the controller.
Kirishima started another match and Kaminari watched, occasionally yelling advice or insults, and Bakugou continued reading, telling Kaminari to shut up when necessary. After finishing a match, Kirishima set down the controller and turned to face Denki. "Does this ever, I don't know, get boring for you?" he asked hesitantly. "What do you mean, do you wanna switch games or something?" Kaminari asked. "No, it's just that we do this almost everyday," Kirishima said, "doesn't it get a little old?" "It got old for me a month and a half ago," Bakugou added, even though he wasn't really included in this conversation. Denki ignored him. "I guess," he said, "how do we fix that though?" "Get more people to play with..?" Kirishima offered hesitantly. They turned to stare at Bakugou at the same time.
"F off, nerds. I'm not playing your stupid video games with you," Bakugou said, not even having to look up to know they were staring expectantly at him. Denki rolled his eyes, "Aw, come on Bakubro-" "Don't call me that," Bakugou snapped. "Who else can we play with then?" Kirishima asked. "I don't care, just not me," Bakugou said, "Someone else in 1-A probably plays the same crappy games, just ask them. I bet Soy Sauce will play with you."
"Yeah, probably," Kaminari said, "but they could be busy, we shouldn't bother them now. Maybe ask tomorrow?" "But you're fine with bothering me," Bakugou said.
"Yeah exactly."
"I'll kill you, portable phone charger."
"Nah, not right now. I'm thinking."
"We could just play with someone else online," Kirishima offered, interrupting them before they could continue. "Absolutely not," Bakugou said, "you idiots will probably get yourselves kidnapped." "Aw, look who cares," Kaminari said. Bakugou turned his phone off and glared at him. "OR, or we could not do that," Kirishima cut in, yet again, to save Denki, "we can just wait until tomorrow and ask someone else to play." "Yeah, sure, sure," Kaminari said, then purposely looked at Bakugou, "I'm sure if we asked Midoriya would join us." Kirishima stared at Denki, silently saying dude, are you trying to get yourself killed??? "Screw you guys, I'm going to bed. Do whatever the hell you want, I don't care," Bakugou said, getting up and storming out of Kaminari's room, slamming the door behind him.
