Chapter 2

"There she is she kidnapped YaYa!" The young boy from the other day yelled.

He and his mother ran up to the baby who was walking towards them while Ellie just stood there watching.

"YaYa how are you feeling?" Her brother asked.

"Girl hit pow pow.. demon go boom boom boom." The baby babbled making hand motions. The crowd scowled at Ellie.

"Why would you kidnap a little girl!?" He said.

"Your wrong! If I wasn't here that demon could've eaten her!" Ellie yelled in defense.

"So where's the demon huh? Did you see one? How about you? Do you really think we're that dumb!? The young boy said asking the crowd if they had witnessed a demon.

The whole crowd started to yell and insult her.

"Fine." Ellie said to herself walking away.

"Go away you demon brat!" The boy said.

Ellie stopped in her tracks and lunged at him. She gave him her death glare as she stared down at him.

"Stop it!" His mom said and hit her with a stick. Ellie just telekineticly threw her in the water.

"See she's a monster!" Someone said and the crowd started to attack her.

She went into a fit of rage and stopped one of them before she started attacking everyone. She had a pitch fork thrown at her before she caught it and threw it back. But it was blocked by Taiyi.

"Your master has arrived. Stop hurting people." Taiyi demanded before the pitchfork landed in his shoulder making him freak out.

"Ellie!" Ellie turned and saw her parents on their horses coming her way.

"Commander Li, this girl burnt down the village, kidnapped a child, you must lock this demon child up never again to see the light of day." The old man said.

"Demon?! You wanna see a demon? Well then I'll show you what a demon really is!" Ellie said before lunging at them with the pitchfork in hand.

"Ellie no!" Yin said.

Taiyi released a red cloth and it tied her up making her fall to the ground.

Aobing landed in his underground palace. "Master, father." Aobing greeted.

"How did today's lesson go?" Shang asked.

"I made 7 resolutions, and 4 greater ones. I've learned to ice over rivers and create frost and snow. I've reached the 7th heaven of the ice jade." Aobing said. "Also, I made a friend. I met her by the seashore."

"What do you mean a friend?! you can't reveal your identity!!" Shang said.

"She was human, but she didn't care what I was, because I'm her friend." Aobing defended.

"And who was this person?" Shang asked.

"Well, she said she didn't have a name." Aobing said.

Shang looked at the dragon with a smirk. "Ahh, small world, it looks like you just met the demon pill." Shang said.

Aobing's eyes widen. "Oh no."

"That girl is your sworn rival!" Shang said as Aobing gasped in shock.

"We've waited 3 whole years. On the day the reckoning occurs the demon pill will start a massacre." Shang explained. "And you will rescue Chentangguan and claim your birth right as the spirit pearl." Shang finished.

"Master, might she be granted redemption?" Aobing asked.

Ellie sat in her room tapping a pot as she closed her eyes and relaxed.

"Sweetie, how long are you going to be this way?" Yin asked as she came in.

"Leave me, I just wanna die in peace." Ellie said as she continued to tap the pot.

"Isn't Jenzha your favorite? I could play with you right now." Yin said.

"I've designed a neat new training route in your painting called 'ride the cloud', wanna give it a try?" Taiyi asked holding up his paintbrush.

Ellie glances at them then rolled on her side away from them. "Not today, but thanks." She said.

Yin and Taiyi sighed as they looked down. "Hey, your 3rd birthday is in 10 days and everyone wants to celebrate with you." Yin said.

Ellie sighed. "They would celebrate my funeral, not my birthday." Ellie sadly said.

"The sea yaksha can move as water without being noticed. It's saliva petrifies people and leaves a residue. That miss understanding has been resolved, they know you drove off the demon." Li said.

"Oh yes your fathers right! The celebration is a thank you for defeating that monster." Yin said elbowing Taiyi to play along.

"Oh yes, it seems my teachings have paid off." Taiyi lied.

Ellie turned to look at them. "Really?" She asked.

They all nodded as a small smile grew on her face it it soon faded away.

"Promise you'll be there?" Yin asked.

"Fine." Ellie responded.

The three then walked out the room and closed the door leaving her there. Ellie sat up as her soft smile came back on her face. She looked and saw the conch shell Aobing gave her. She grabbed it and blushed a little before walking out the door.
