Chapter 4

Ellie continued to charge for her father until she was wrapped up in the paintbrush while trying to stab him.

"Ellie! Stop this!" Yin said.

"She's been possessed! The hoop is our only hope." Taiyi said.

"Find the hoop." Yin ordered the remaining villagers.

"Looking for this? Don't waste your time." Shen said holding the hoop as he and Aobing watched everything happen.

"Her parents and Taiyi, they are all innocent. It's not right. If the hoop was still on then she wouldn't be evil." Aobing said.

"Why do care if she's good or evil? She's about to get struck by lightning." Shen said.

"Master, I owe her my life! Maybe I can't save her, but let me save her parents and her master to repay my debt." Aobing said. Shen grunted and gave him the hoop.

"Go on then." Shen said as Aobing smiled and bowed before running off with the hoop.

Ellie pushes the switch on her spear to burn her father but he was saved by another strand of the paintbrush moving him out of the way. She then threw her spear and silk up and cut the paintbrush strands away. The silk then took form of a stick figure and fought Taiyi. The silk then struck Taiyi in his crotch and pushed him away. It then went back to Ellie fighting her father as she struck him into the air and tied him up. She then positioned the spear at him.

"Stop, that's your father!" Yin said pulling her back but she just pushed her away before throwing the spear.

But it just came back down again as she saw a white cloaked person set her father free. She then charged for him and the battle continued. The cloaked person then was able to freeze her spear in place and pass Taiyi the hoop.

"Use the hoop." He said.

Taiyi nodded and said a few words before the hoop broke into three and charged at Ellie. She gasped and tried to get away but she only got stuck inside as she pounded the sides trying to get out.

"Hold." Taiyi said as the hoop wrapped around her neck and she started to loose power. She was now passed out on the ground.

"Ellie! Ellie!" Yin said as her parents went to her side and she slowly woke up. "Dear, it's your mother." She said.

Ellie then looked to her side and saw the villagers whispering and staring at her. Her eyes widen with tears as she wiggled out of her mother's arms and onto her flaming chariot before flying away.

Aobing was a bit sadden once he saw Ellie leave . He began to walk away but was stopped.

"Please wait. Thank you for your assistance today, tell me what is your name?" Li asked.

"My name isn't worth knowing." Aobing said trying to get past.

"Nonsense, I must make a toast to thank you." Li said.

"I have an urgent task I must attend to." Aobing said.

Li then purposely spilled the water on him.

"I'm sorry, let me get that." Li said.

"No need!" Aobing tried to back away before his cloak was removed. He covered his face with his arm as everyone started whispering about the dragons.

"I knew I detected a familiar scent on you, that mark on your head confirms my suspicions." Li said pointing at his forehead as Aobing gasped.

"So the dragons stole the Spirit Pearl." Taiyi said as Aobing began to fly away. "I can chase you if I wanted! What else would you expect from a bunch of dragons! No wonder your kind were locked away!" Taiyi yelled making Aobing freeze in mid air.

"How unfortunate." Shen said next to Aobing.

"Brother?" Taiyi said flabbergasted.

"For this to work, only four people needed to die. But now everyone sees what you are, now nobody gets to survive." Shen said.

"Please tell me you weren't involved." Taiyi pleaded.

"I'm afraid I can't, it would be quite rude to lie. As for the Pearl, I stole it, and Aobing is my apprentice." Shen said placing a hand on Aobing's shoulder.

"Have you lost your mind!? I'm gonna tell the supreme lord!" Taiyi said. "Good thing I'm one step ahead then. If you all die there will be no one left to tell him will there?" Shen said. "Apprentice, there is only one more thing to be done. The survival of your people depends on your next decision." Shen whispered.

Ellie punched a tree until it snapped in half. She then fell to the ground and silently cried. Her flaming chariot then took form of a pig again as she looked at it with surprise and confusion. It took a piece of grass and tickled its nose making it sneeze. Ellie was suddenly in front of her father. She stayed put and watched the whole thing.

"So who is Ellie?" A cloud asked.

"She is my daughter." Her father said before the flashback ended.

She then looked down at the charm and took out the same exact paper and let tears slip onto it. She gathered herself and made the pig form into her chariot again before she started to head back.

Aobing continued to use his powers to keep up the water and fought off Ellie's parents. He then got ahold of their swords and froze them both. He looked behind him and saw a flaming ball coming at him. He blocked it with a big ice boulder but the heat was enough to unfreeze Li and Yin. The fire then slowly separated until Ellie was revealed and she summoned her spear and silk. Her eyes were then met with Aobing's.

"Aobing?" Ellie said.

Aobing's face the softened as he looked down shamefully and then behind him.

"Don't waste you're breath!" Shen said from behind.

"Shen Gong Gong? What are you doing here?" Ellie said.

"It's Shen GonBao!" Shen corrected.

"Shen GonBao stole the Spirit Pearl and put it in Aobing! He wants to bury Chentangguan and everyone in it." Taiyi said.

Ellie then gripped her spear and charged at Aobing. Another battle then went on between the two.

"Your powers are limited with that hoop, you have no chance." Aobing said. Ellie kept her stern face and charged at him again. "Don't do this." He blocked Ellie's spear. She then went into the fog. "Fine, then I'll ice you out!" Aobing said and shot ice in her direction.

"Stop my apprentice!" It was Shen.

"I'm sorry master." Aobing bowed.

"There she is!" Shen said making Aobing turn before he stabbed him in the back again.

"Dragon scales?" Ellie said in amazement.

"Transformation?" Aobing said charging at Ellie.

"Too slow, dragon boy." Ellie said before disappearing in the fog again.

"Demon, there can only be one of us!" Aobing said before chasing her in the fog as well.
