IMAGINE ralph meeting your parents for the first time.

"ralph it's fine! they're going to love you, trust me!" you reassured him as he was scrambling around the room trying to look his best. "i just want them to like me" he confided. "baby, don't worry they already love you and they haven't even met you yet!" you tried calming him down.

eventually the two of you arrived at your parents house and he was a nervous wreck it was so adorable. "y/n, let's go back home i can't do this" you rung the doorbell and the door swung open. "mom dad!! hi, this is my boyfriend, ralph" you held ralph's hand and he held onto you for dear life. you could tell he was extremely nervous.

"hi (your mom & dads name)! a pleasure to finally meet you!" your mom already fell in love with his charm. "ah ralph nice to meet you too" your parents gushed and brought you two to the dinner table. your mom cooked some alfredo pasta, your favorite.

ralph was doing great with your parents, he initiated small talk and they really seemed to enjoy his company. him and your dad were talking about some soccer game and you and your mom were talking about ralph's upcoming movie starring him and leonardo dicaprio. "so the acting industry must be pretty tough huh?" your father asked.

"yeah for sure but it helps that i have an agent." he replied "on a more serious note, what are your intentions with my daughter?" your dad asked ralph firmly yet politely. he looked straight in your eyes, "well sir, if i'm being honest i'm in love with y/n. everything about her just makes me so happy. she's one of the best things that's happened to me. i can't imagine my future without her in it." ralph said.

you started to tear up a little and so did your mom. your dad felt proud and instantly knew ralph was a good guy and had nothing to worry about. the conversation kept going for about an hour and you and ralph wanted to go home so you told your parents goodbye.

"bye mom bye dad love you guys!" you gave them a hug and when ralph went to the bathroom your mom whispered "y/n we love him! he's incredible and so good for you. proud of you honey" it meant a lot to you to hear your mom tell you that and you and ralph went home. "i told you they'd love you" you smiled at him and gave you a tight hug while giving a sigh of relief.
