Percy spit out some blood. She was currently deep in the center of the base of BlockBuster, one of her ally Nightwing's arch enemies. The heroine heard his voice, he was yelling. Yelling at who? His grunts—followers—if you will. They were supposed to make a deal with an unknown villain from Gotham, but the boys lost the case. That was Percy's handiwork. Hey, over seven years with Connie and Tracie Stoll, you learn a few things. Percy had already put the case back at her base(Dr. Seuss anyone?)and now she was just getting some info, blueprint layouts, the usual. She was currently peeking through a skylight above the abandoned warehouse building. "Man what's with villains and abandoned wareh—" and all BlueJay saw was darkness.
________
NightWing was chillin' and vibin' on their usual roof, eating a chili dog from B.B.B. when he got the alert. It was from the pager he'd given BlueJay, his...acquaintance...in crime fighting/protecting Blüdhaven. He made a surprised grunt, and finished his chili dog as he tracked her location. He wiped his hands against each other as he started sprinting. Aww man, never eat before acrobat work. He held back a burp, cursed, and took off into the night. Wait. He froze. This was embarrassing, but...ahh! Should he? Nightwing started pacing. No. BlueJay is putting faith in him. In him, not—ahh dam it! Dick swallowed his pride. This is humiliating.

Percy's eyes shot open. She saw only dark, minus the eery red light shining through the foggy window, probably from a neon sign. She immediately saw that her hands were cuffed, so the daughter of Poseidon bumped her hip until she heard the beep of the pager. Perhaps Ol' Birdy Boy's tracker would be of good use. For her life. Now she just had to wait. A door opened somewhere, and there was two silhouettes in front of the red light. One was obviously BlockBuster, but this other was a mystery. Two wolverine-type blade seemed to come out of both his knuckles...oh no. Nightwing better hurry, he'll need all the help he can get with this guy. He stepped into the light, and Percy's suspicions were confirmed. Saiko gave a smirk that would have Ares shaking in his boots, and Percy felt a tingle up her spine.
|15 minutes later|
Percy screamed hoarsely. Saiko yanked out his two blades, and sighed. She really didn't have any info on Nightwing. Oh well, another beautiful girl killed because of Batty Boy's old apprentice. No matter. When he cocked his elbow to finish her off mercilessly, he had a thought. Leverage perhaps. He reached up to her mask, but something hit his hand. He grunted, and held it up to his face. Perfect. Just as plann-he was interrupted by Nightwing dropping in front of him. Before he could react, another smaller figure landed to his left. One more to his right. The smallest one dropped silently in next to his arch nemesis, and he slowly backed up. They all started slowly stalking towards him, and he lost his nerve. He backed up more, and a very large thud sounded behind him. He didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. His eyes widened. Whispering, he muttered shakily,
"Oh shi–"
He stopped as he turned around to see the mark of a black bat in his face. Before anything else could be done, a fist connected to his face, and all he saw was dark.
I know that's probably ooc for Saiko, and Percy just said Nightwing would need all the help he could get, but you have to admit, that was badass.
_______
Percy cried when she came to and saw Nightwing, and four blurry black blobs and...red? Green? Yellow?! She blinked, and they were gone. She focused back on Nightwing, who was releasing her. Percy heard the hiss of her cuffs, and she fell forward. Dick caught her, and tried to set her down, but Percy started bawling and hugged him tightly. He hugged her back and patted her back.
"It'll be alright BlueJay. It'll all be fine. You're safe." She passed out again from exhaustion.

Percy shot up to see unfamiliar surroundings. She jumped out out of the bed, couch, she didn't look to see, into a crouch. The heroine crawled around until she found a kitchen, and saw Nightwing of Blüdhaven wearing flannel pants and a tight white t-shirt, sipping coffee, mask still on. Percy was vaguely aware of her mask still on her face, but she wasn't worried. She hoped he trusted her enough to keep his identity anyways, she sure did. He turned towards her and almost spilled his drink. He cursed. Percy walked around the kitchen, slowly checking exits, lines of sight, the usual for demigods and superheroes.
"Hey. I hope those wounds will heal alright."
Percy didn't even react to his voice, just felt up her shirt until two bundles of gauze could be felt right in her midsection.
"Yeah, well...thanks. I gotta go. Thanks for saving me I guess."
"No problem. More of a professional courtesy, right BlueJay?"
Percy spun towards him.
"Haha. Seriously, thanks. I'd be dead if it wasn't for you. Also," she walked towards the windows, not knowing that her ally was watching her hips sway in the volleyball shorts she had kept in her pack. Dick just couldn't help it! She's so beautiful and nice and–
"Call me Percy. And call me," she did the universal sign for phone, and smirked as she crouched on the window sill. She lifted her mask up, and Dick saw a genuine smile, and the most amazing, alluring eyes he'd ever seen.
"Anytime Birdy."
And with that, she jumped off, into the rainy, foggy, nasty and murky city that they both loved. Dick murmured to himself as he watched her swing away,
"Anytime...Percy."
