Jealousy [ Solby ]

A/n does anyone actually read this story or am I making it just because?

"That helped a lot thank you guys." I say.

"Don't mention it. I know you hard breakups are." Brennen says putting his hand on mine over the table.

(they're at a booth table and colby is sitting by Sam on one side and Brennen is on the other)

I smile awkwardly at him. I could feel Colby's eyes on us. "Sam wanna go to the park after this? Just walk around and get some fresh air?" Colby asks out of no where.

Brennen eyes him and takes his hand off mine.

"Uh sure yeah" I smile at Colby this time.

"Great." He smiles back and glances at Brennen. Is there something going on between them that I don't know about?

"Well we better get going to the park before it gets dark" Brennen says.

Colby glares at him once again. "I ment just me and Sam.." He says harshly.

"Oh...well i'm sure Sam wont mind if I tag along. Do you?" Brennen asks looking at me.

Both of them were looking at me waiting for an answer.

"I mean n-no I don't mind" I say. Brennen smiles while Colby scoffs and rolls his eyes.

"Awesome. I'll be right back" Brennen says standing up and walking to the bathroom.

There was an awkward silence between me and Colby.

"I-i'm sorry. Do you not want him to come with us?" I asked.

"No not really. I wanted some time alone with you since we don't really get that anymore but no. You want Brennen to tag along in everything. It's like you're obsessed with him."
Colby says not making eye contact with me.

What? I'm so confused...

My eyes started to water but I didn't want Colby to see.

What does he mean I want Brennen to tag along in everything... it was just this one time? I don't even hang out with Brennen hardly, hes the one that does.

"W-well then just forget it. I'll just go home so I won't make anyone m-mad." I say with my voice croaking.

I stand up and speed walk to my car wiping my eyes. This is one of the worse days i've had in a while.

"Sam wait-" I hear behind me. I still kept walking and got into my car, starting it up then driving away.

Eventually I made it back to the house. I walked in, and saw Mike was still here. Jake and Corey were talking to him.

I tried to hide my face and walk by them but I knew that wasn't gonna work.

"Hey Sam you ok?" Jake asked.

I just hummed a 'mm-hmm' and walked upstairs into my room.

I knew someone was coming up soon. I knew my friends and they know when something is wrong.

I balled my eyes out into the pillow. I don't know why i'm crying so hard it wasn't that big of a deal but now Colby's mad at me for- I don't even know what.

Soon I hear a knock at my door. I quickly get up and wipe my eyes trying to calm down my breathing.

"Sam? You okay?" I heard Mike ask... Thats weird it's usually Jake or Corey.

"Uh- y-yeah yeah come in" I mumble.

The door opens.

"What's wrong pip squeak?" He asks. Me and Mike weren't that close but he always calls me pip squeak, it doesn't bother me. I think it's kind of cute actually...

He comes and sits down beside me. "You don't have to tell me. It seems personal. Wanna watch a movie instead?" He asks.

I smile at him.

Mike is like this tough emo kid on the outside but he's actually a teddy bear.

"Yeah that would be nice" I say.

Mike nods and grabs my remote. He lays down, his legs covered under the blanket, motioning me to lay beside him.

I crawl beside him and get under the covers cuddling into him. This isn't anything romantic he's just trying to make me feel better right?

He puts his arm around me and turns on the tv. "What do you wanna watch?" He asks, rubbing my arm.

"Anything is fine" I mumble. My eyes were heavy. I knew I was about to fall asleep soon.

Mike noticed to and chuckled. "It's okay you can go to sleep pip squeak" He says making me smile.
