A bleak grey sky watched over the capital. Rows of archers stood high upon the the capital's fortified gates. Down below were hundreds of soldiers, accompanied by knights on horseback. Back at the castle, the mages were preparing to take flight. In front of the army were Erion, Norder, Tikana, Huffey, Sir Thomas, Lady Carolin, Lady Venetia, and Lord Rith. Norder and Tikana were both on horseback. To protect herself from overwhelming harm, Tikana donned a suit of studded leather armor above her white top. Thomas, in full armor, rode on Silverblade. Leading the army was none other than Carolin and Venetia, who were both mounted on a sleek black horse. Back in their armor, Venetia steered the horse, while Carolin sat behind her, equipped in an archer's tunic.

The entire city was silent, for all the villagers had retreated into the castle.

The marching of hundreds of orcs could be heard in the far distance, like a rumbling tremor.

"We've faced many hardships over these past few months!" Called Carolin. "These monsters have killed our families. Our friends. They've desecrated our kingdom's landmarks and made our countryside a living hell! These orcs are incapable of remorse, incapable of any good! Thus, we shall show them no mercy!"

The troops cheered and shouted.

"The fury that you carry - don't let it die! For those who have slaughtered, don't let their deaths be in vain! May we unite in our fury and fight for those who have had their lives cut short by these monsters! May we unite as one!"

The troops yelled again.

"Some of you will not make it back alive. But even if you believe you'll survive, fight as if it were your last battle!"

The troops began to whoop and cry again.

"Erion, you show those bastards what you're made of!" Exclaimed Tikana.

"Tikana's right! We must fight for everything we love!" Added Norder.

"Don't worry guys. If things get rough, I'll just go Ultra Elf on them!"

"Right!"

"I look forward to seeing your new form in person." Said Rith.

"It will be a sight to behold." Added Thomas.

"Well, if you want to see it, you'd best stick with me!" Erion replied.

The orcs eventually marched out of the forest and onto the plain. Leading the army were heavily armored orcs mounted on giant warthogs. There were about ten thousand orcs ready to battle, and nine thousand soldiers.

"Now... CHARGE!!" Shouted Venetia.

Being led by the heroes and the knights, the army charged into battle, as did the orcs.

Warhorses galloped violently into the crowd as knights drove their shining lances into the orcs. Soldiers fought with all their might, and the orcs fought with unmatched brutality. The leading orc cavaliers killed and trampled dozens of soldiers, while those who were unmounted slashed the opposing army to their bitter doom. Soldiers were decapitated, slaughtered, and mangled. Orcs were slain, vanquished, and defeated. The heroes fought with all their strength. Leading the army, Venetia stabbed her spear into the crowd of unmounted orcs, taking their lives as she ran by on her black horse. At the same time, Carolin shot her arrows into the orc's heads, taking their lives instantly. Valiant Sir Thomas, filled with vigor, fought bravely on his regal steed, slaying orcs one by one. The unmounted orc troops stood no chance against him, the only challenge for him being the mounted orcs. Yet even they were slaughtered. Norder and Tikana utilized both of their specialties during this battle. As Norder rushed into crowds of orcs, sending them reeling into other troops and trampling them with his steed, Tikana searched for weak spots, and stabbing them with her dagger when she had the chance. Meanwhile, Huffey delivered blows that were enhanced by divine radiant energy. When he had the chance, he used his magic to heal his wounded allies. But Erion, filled with strength and determination, fought with fury. He hacked and slashed the orcs until they fell, sending them to their death.
