The Last Few

The sunrise shined through the glass window from Catra and Adora's room. It was the next day, but yesterday was a whirlpool of emotions. Catra rolled to her side to see her beloved soon-to-be fiancé snoring peacefully. She let out a small chuckle as she planted a kiss on the blonde's cheek which stirred her up. "Morning, dummy." Catra whispered softly with a smile. Adora rubbed her eyes and then stretched out her arms, "Mm, morning. What time is it?"

"Mm, probably pretty early." Catra replied. Adora yawned as she curled up next to Catra. "Can we stay in for just a few minutes?" Catra chuckled a bit, " 'fraid not..You have work today remember?" Adora's eyes shot open as she sat up, "SHIT!" She jumped out of bed and raced to the bathroom. Catra laughed as she put her hand on her forehead.

Yup, this was her future wife alright..

...but she had one final blessing she needed.

"Hey babe? Since I'm off today..why don't I go deliver those jams to Razz?" Catra called out as she got out of the bed. Adora stood out the bathroom door, brushing her teeth, "Rweally?" She tried talking. "Yea, I don't really have much to do." Catra laughed at her dorky girlfriend. Adora went to finish getting ready in the bathroom and then got out, "Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver babe."

As they entered the kitchen, Catra grabbed the jams and put them in a bag as Adora looked in the mirror by the living room and fixed her shirt. "If you want, I can drive you to work today?" Catra asked as she gathered her things ready to go. "Oh you don't have to do that." Adora turned around to smile at her girlfriend. Catra walked up to her and smiled, "Yes, I do. After yesterday I felt really bad for putting you on blast like that." Adora smiled at her and took her hands, "But I still feel horrible about keeping it a secret."

"But I know you meant well..from now on we only have good surprises." Catra smiled causing Adora to smile, "Yea." Melog, then, looked up at the two and meowed causing the girls to giggle, "Before we go we should probably feed Melog." Catra giggled. "Yes and then my beautiful girlfriend gets to drive me to work ah ha!" Adora giggled as she pressed a quick kiss on Catra's cheek as she walked to pet the cat. Catra hummed.

"Okay, here's my stop." Adora said as she unbuckled her seatbelt as they made it in front of a tall building. "Okay doll, be safe." Catra said. Adora pressed her lips on Catra's before she opened the door, "Bye, love you." "Love you more!" Catra said as her girlfriend waved bye. Catra stayed a few more minutes until Adora made it safely into the building where her coworker, Jake waited for her. Jake saw Catra and smiled as he waved. Catra smiled and waved back before driving to Razz's. As soon as Catra left, Jake smirked at the blonde, "Soo?" Adora shushed him quickly. "I'm thinking." Jake smiled, "Oh careless one, eventually you'll get around it." Adora rolled her eyes as she started walking inside, "You know what? Maybe I should set you up with D.T after all."

Jake laughed a bit, "Hey, they are pretty cute."

"Catra dearie! I'm so happy to see you today!" Razz said as she opened the door, "You know, Hope sensed that you would be coming today." Catra smiled at the woman, "The feeling is mutual." "Come!Come in and drop the jams as so we can go." Razz smiled as she gestured the woman to come in. As the two entered the kitchen, Catra set the bag of jams down and put her hands in her pockets.
