She's my bestfriend ever since we were kids.

We have so many things in common.

We shared the same talents, beliefs and hobbies.

We even have the same favorite colors and foods.

We watched our favorite anime and Disney movies together.

We often play and laughed as the day ends.

We went in elementary together, with the same backpacks and school stuffs.

When we were in high school, we had the same section. That's why we were so happy.

The only thing we're different at is that  she's  smart and I am not. That's why a lot of people adores her, especially my parents.

We both have the good looks and body. Sometimes, they mistaken us as twins but the truth is we're just bestfriends.

When we were in college, we started to get into relationships.

She had her long-term boyfriend while I am getting heartbroken a couple of times. It's just that, no one is serious about me.

"Congrats! Sis!" She said when I graduated in college.

I smiled at her and turned my gaze to the man beside her.

"Thank you, Beia" I replied.

She hugged me tightly. I can't hide my smile and tears at the same time.

We're not the same anymore.

She isn't my bestfriend now, because she has changed.

Everything has changed when she stole my boyfriend back then.

I got mad, actually. How could she do that? We're almost like sisters!

I closed my eyes as I watched them walked away from me. I clenched my fist as they slowly fading from my sight .

Memories flashed in my mind.

"Ciera, I'm s-sorry. I-im pregnant" my bestfriend uttered. She's crying hardly when she went to our house and talked to me.

I remained silent. I just stared at her blankly, but my heart is shattering into million pieces.

"Beia, you're smart. But how did you do that? Paano mo nasikmurang makipagrelasyon sa boyfriend ko habang kami pa?" Madiin kong tanong sa kanya.

She lowered her gaze and looked away from me.

"He loves me. I love him, that's all. So I'm sorry for cheating and betraying you" she said in a calm voice, as if I wasn't dying inside from her words.

It pierced my heart.

My boyfriend and my bestfriend betrayed me.

"He's the only man who stayed with me, but why did you stole him from me? You have everything! You even had your own boyfriend back then, but why did you ended up being like this!? A slut? A traitor friend?" I didn't hide my sarcasm on my voice.

She just cried and kept on saying her apologies.

I just walked away because I can't bear the pain anymore. So I chose to turn my back and avoided her.

"What are you doing here?" I said in a cold voice when I saw my bestfriend sitting on the visitor's chair in my office.

She immediately stood up. I notice a bump on her tummy, because her dress is kinda fitted.

"Ciera.." my bestfriend said, she held my arm but I walked away and went to my swivel chair.

"Why? What do you want now?" I arched my brows, with arms crossed on my chest.

"I'm happy na.. architect kana!" She bit her lower lip as if she's hesitating to say something.

"Yeah. I did everything to be where I am right now." Matabang na sabi ko habang isa-isang binubuklat ang mga papeles sa desk ko.

"Uhmm..birthday pala ng panganay namin sa makalawa." Aniya na ikinatigil ko sa ginagawa.
" I just want to invite you" saad niya sa mababang boses.

Nag-angat ako ng tingin.

"Then, you're pregnant again?" Hindi ko alam kung insulto ba ang naging tanong ko.

Dahan-dahan siyang napatango na tila ba nahihiya pa siyang aminin kahit halata na naman.

"Good for you" mabilis kong sabi at tinuon ang atensiyon sa ginagawa.

"Cierra, gusto ko lang sana humingi ng pabor sayo.. kung.." kaagad ko siyang tinapunan ng tingin.

"Kung pwede sanang.. ihanap mo ako ng trabaho dito sa opisina mo. Kahit secretary lang o kahit mas mababa pa.." nag-aalangang sabi niya.

I heaved a deep sigh.

Yeah. Maybe years ago, she was the almost perfect from the two of us. She's pretty, kind and all positive characteristics they may describe her.

But, when she'd been blinded with love. She lost everything. She didn't finished her college degree. She supposed to be an engineer. We even planned to work together someday.

Too bad, she lost herself in the process .

In the beginning she was the main lead while I was the supporting character.

But the plot of the story has twisted, when she turned into a different direction.

"Yeah, I'll help you. But I'm not assuring you the we are back from being best friends now." Matiim ko siyang tinitigan habang unti-unting namumuo ang luha sa kanyang mga mata.

"We may even had the good and happy beginnings but..." I stood up to come near her.

"But not all beginning lasts. Just like us, we're friends back then, but now YOU ARE JUST MY EMPLOYEE." I smirked while seeing tears on her cheeks.

"You're my secretary now, prepare everything and you may start tomorrow" I said before walking away from my office.

As I closed the door, I heard her sobs and apologies.

A tear escape from my eyes.

"You're my happiest beginning, my friend. But you lost us, you lost our friendship. So, we were both suffering in this TRAGIC ending" I uttered as I let my tears fall.
