Neo City. The definition of a futuristic world.
Made in 2034, the bright and the colorful city residents in just between North and South Korea. It's filled with everything you could ever dreamed of. There's always a flying robot everytime you looked up to the sky, big and tall buildings squeezing the city tightly. Flying cars? No problem, the city got your back.
It's place where you want to stay, a place where you can always find happiness everytime your eyes wandered to your surroundings. The robots were like humans, they always greeted you with their best robotic smile to cheer you up along your way to work, or just going to school in the bright morning.
"Say, Jinhee, don't you have any lead regarding the last attack on the Mega street?" A familiar voice echoed through the room, the so called Jinhee eyed the source of the voice who greeted to hard-working girl with a bright smile.
"I don't know, Hyena. I can't really find out the source of the sudden attack. It can be anyone, you know?" Jinhee said lighty, placing her right hand to support her chin as she wait for the other girl to answer. Hyena only smiled, now sitting infront of her with the old mischievous look she got.
Jinhee rolled her eyes, knowing what's coming. "It could be the Fangs," Jinhee let out a frustrated sigh, rolling her eyes once more. "Hyena, it's been eternity since we last seen the Fangs. They all are probably dead by now. You know how much the lovely Neo People loves them. " Jinhee said sarcastically. Hyena lips turned to a pout, mumbling something about the Neo People.
"Why do the people hated them so much? What did they do wrong?" Hyena pulled her hair lightly, adjusting her sitting position. "Isn't that what our job is? To find out why the Neo people hated the Fangs so much."
"We pretty much know the basic information ; they've attacked the Neo City before, and now they are long gone." Jinhee replied, carefully tying her dark brown hair to a tight knot. Her eyes darted back to Hyena, who groaned in response.
"Why are we sent here anyways? Even though the South is not a compare to how beautiful this city is, at least the people are not so mysterious and lightheaded." Hyena mumbled, her memories flashed back to where they last seen the South, which is around 2 years ago.
"The government sent us here, we can't do anything about it. Let's just find about the unsettling Fangs and get this over with. " "Let's just say the acknowledged our skills as the best department in the police section." Jinhee earned a wink from Hyena. The dark haired girl chucked, nodding a yes.
"Now, tell me the information of the attack yesterday." "It was on the Mega street, near the NSC, Neo Shopping Center. The attacked was confirmed around 3 o'clock in the morning. An unsuspected Neo people were walking home when he heard a large explosion. A fire was seen afterwards. He called the police and also the firefighters."
Jinhee explained, her hands are now pointing out at the document infront of her. "The interrogate was done successfully, the suspect is now free. He said he saw nothing but explosions. This is leading is to nowhere." Jinhee lets out a sigh of frustration once again.
Hyena nodded, biting her nail as her eyes averted back to Jinhee. "Say, Jinhee, do you want to go back to-"
Just before Hyena could finish her sentence, a large rush of 'Bang' was heard as the office door slammed open to reveal a black haired panting young man. Jinhee and Hyena widened at the sudden sight, the black haired figure walked towards them with a plastered hesitation smile.
"Why are you running, Mingju?" Jinhee asked, her eyes trailed to Mingju who is currently holding a document that will change Jinhee life forever. He respectfully bowed at both of their sunbae, giving Jinhee the document.
"You might want to check the inside." Mingju smiled, still panting from the marathon run he just did out there. Jinhee nodded, eyeing to Hyena who's eyes are sparkling like a puppy.
Jinhee scoffed, opening the nicely wrapped document slowly. It revealed an unsuspecting letter. Jinhee furrowed as her eyes trailed to the picture.
"What the actual fuck." Jinhee gasped in disbelief. Hyena's curiosity gone wild as she quickly snatched the letter from Jinhee.
Hyena stared at the letter for what it felt like eternity, her jaw dropped when she saw the specific picture. She lets out a shocking gasp, hands in her mouth.
"T-This is the picture of the black fang."
