"Can you tell me how you got here in the first place?"
Silence.
"Why are you attacking the Neo City?"
Silence.
"Do you know how long you've been tortured?"
Silence.
"This is not going anywhere." Jinhee mumbled, earning a sigh from the rest of the team. It's been almost one hour and the chained young boy hasn't spoke a single word. He only stared at them one by one, lazily.
He's alive but he's barely breathing.
"Should we like, uh, hurt him or something so he would speak?" Jinhee punched Mingju lightly in the arm, he hissed and mouthed a 'sorry' in return. "I don't want to hurt him. Have you seen he's bruises? He's gone through a lot." Hyena nodded, agreeing to Jinhee words.
"But isn't he considered as criminal? Since the Fangs attacked the Neo City multiple of times." Mingju asked. "We don't know what the purpose of their attacks, we can't just labeled them as criminals straight away. Remember, we are not as sentimental as the Neo people." Jinhee explained as she crossed her arms, thinking about how to make him speak.
"Jeno, can you please speak? We don't want to hurt you-" Before Jinhee could finish her sentence, a 'Bang' was heard from the front door. The crowd went silence and turned their head, seeing one of the staff panting after a long run.
"I-It's a blood moon!" The staff shouted. The crowds, including the Jinhee and her friends, gasped in disbelief. The room became chaotic, the sound of panicking and running was heard as everyone left the room, searching for cover.
Jeno widened his eyes, glancing back at Jinhee who is shaking. He took this chance to slip away from their hands. He closed his eyes, focusing his energy and strength to his chained arms and legs. The chains then broke into millions of pieces, making Jeno stood up as he adjusted his position.
The four of team turned their heads to see the unpleasing sight of shattered chains and Jeno standing, looking straight into their eyes. Jinhee jaw dropped, not knowing what to do in such a state. There's a blood moon out there where the monsters would be out looking for foods, and now the almighty black fang just broke free from their grip.
Great day.
The black fang took one last glance back to Jinhee, before dozing out of the room in full speed. Their jaw dropped once again, the wind from the high speed brushing through their face.
"H-He broke free!" Breaking the silence, Hyena shouted to her teammates. Jinhee averted her eyes to the team who is clearly still shocked of the sudden unexpected event.
"I'm going to chase after him." "Are you crazy?! There are monsters out there trying to eat you!" "We can't let him go just like that! What would the government think?" "But it's not worth risking your life!" "It is!"
Jinhee stormed outside of the room, leaving the the four of them behind. She runs as fast as fast as she could, going through the waves of people who is finding cover from the monsters outside.
"Please excuse me!" "P-Please move out!"
When she finally reached the outside, she was greeted with the cold air the sight of terrifying monsters. Vampires, werewolves, anything your fantasy head could imagine, it's all right infront of her. She gulped as she saw the vampire draining the hell out of a human, and one of the werewolf eating the human flesh like there's not tomorrow.
Well shit, she's going to die.
"Oh My God, Lord, please forgive my sins. I haven't found the love of my life yet, please don't let me die." Jinhee groaned, biting her lower lip as she scan her surroundings once again.
Her brown eyes caught the figure who's trying to run away, the black fang.
Looking back to the vampires and the werewolves who's busy eating the humans, she took the chance to storm and chase him. She closed her eyes, praying to God and hopes that no monsters is chasing after her tail.
She opened her eyes, still running fast as she noticed that the black fang has disappeared. He was nowhere to be seen, and now she is in the middle of God knows where. It was dark as the bloody moon shines upon the area. She gulped, feeling the intense in her chest while trying to stay quiet as possible.
This was never a good idea.
A shake was heard in between the bushes, making Jinhee gasped. A pair of dark sharp eyes pierced through her soul. Jinhee stood frozen, hands in her mouth. Tears started to overflow slowly, she felt like she can collapse anytime soon.
The piercing eyes revealed itself slowly. Every sound and movements made Jinhee flinched. When it finally showed itself, the bloody moonlight shines even brighter, that made Jinhee closed her eyes shut.
Quiet. There was no sound.
Jinhee decided to open her eyes slowly, breathing a heavy breath to relieve her nervousness. When her eyes fully opened, she saw something that changed her life, forever.
"Oh My God."
